Rengifo has been a locked-in part of the team's lineup of late, starting five straight games at either second or third base.     Advice: Jake McCarthy has been hitting lead-off for Arizona over the last week, but he doesn’t play against left-handed pitchers. The last time he sat, it was Ketel Marte who hit lead-off, but today the Diamondbacks will give Alexander a chance. The rookie is slashing .322/.385/.559 with three home runs, 10 runs scored, and 13 RBI in 20 games this season. If he’s now going to also lead-off against left-handed pitching then his value gets another nice little boost.     The Twins are expected to option Martin to Triple-A St. Paul ahead of Monday's game against the White Sox, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.

    Advice: Shortstop Carlos Correa (oblique) is on track to come off the 10-day injured list Monday, and Martin looks like he'll move off the 26-man active roster in a corresponding move. Martin has been a near-everyday player for Minnesota since being called up from Triple-A on March 30 while slashing .226/.294/.371 across 68 plate appearances, but the Twins aren't expected to have regular at-bats available for both him and Trevor Larnach with Correa back in the fold and with Max Kepler recently coming off the IL. The 30-year-old is hitting .183/.234/.217 in 64 plate appearances with five RBI and one steal. There is a chance that he latches on with somebody else as versatile infield depth.
