The Marlins placed Lopez on the paternity list Friday.

  • Rays activate INF Walls from 60-day IL
Rays activated INF Taylor Walls from the 60-day injured list.

Advice: Tampa Bay designated Harold Ramirez for assignment to make room for Walls, who has been on the injured list all season as he recovered from offseason hip surgery. Walls figures to come off the bench for the Rays and see most of his playing time against left-handed pitching. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:06 am

  • Activated from 60-day IL
The Rays activated Walls (hip) from the 60-day injured list Friday, Tricia Whitaker of Bally Sports Sun reports.

Advice: Walls has been out all season following offseason hip surgery and had his recovery delayed due to inflammation in the hip. However, he recently got back up to speed during a five-game rehab stint with Triple-A Durham, going 8-for-21 at the plate. Walls could take some playing time away from Jose Caballero at shortstop while working in a utility role. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:00 am

  • Slow start in rearview mirror
Amador has homered in three straight games and is slashing .333/.422/.741 with seven home runs and seven steals in his last 13 games for Double-A Hartford.

Advice: The prized second baseman slashed .135/.309/.144 with one extra-base hit in his first 32 games of the season, so his overall season stats aren't spectacular, but Amador is beginning to show the type of update that his dynasty managers were expecting. Amador is also a threat on the bases, having stolen 22 bags on 25 attempts in 45 games. He should be Ezequiel Tovar's double-play partner in Colorado for most, if not all, of 2025. • Steals base, logs three hits
Rojas went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a stolen base during Thursday's 11-7 win over the Pirates.

Advice: Rojas generated three or more hits for the second time this season, with the other such performance happening May 29 against the Mets. He also swiped his third bag of the campaign, taking second base off Bailey Falter and Henry Davis in the first inning. Overall, Rojas is slashing .287/.343/.447 with a career-best 7.8 percent K rate. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:07 am

  • Serves as DH on rehab assignment
Perdomo started at designated hitter and went 1-for-4 with an RBI for Triple-A Reno on Thursday.

Advice: Perdomo, who played seven innings at shortstop Wednesday, was in the lineup for a second straight day but got replaced by a pinch hitter after eight innings. Perdomo will continue his rehab assignment through the weekend for Reno and could rejoin the Diamondbacks next week. Arizona begins a homestand Tuesday against the Angels. • Four hits, four RBI in win
Rafaela went 4-for-6 with four RBI and one run scored in Thursday's 14-2 win over the White Sox.

Advice: Rafaela entered Thursday 0-for-10 across his last three games before enjoying a breakout performance. While all four of his hits were singles, three of them led to more runs on the board for the Red Sox. The 23-year-old is slashing a meager .215/.243/.374 through 62 contests, but he's batting .276 (16-for-58) over his last 16 games. Rafaela has added seven home runs, 37 RBI, 29 runs scored and eight stolen bases this season. Rotowire.com Thursday, 9:16 pm
  • Adael Amador up to six homers in last eight games
Rockies 2B prospect Adael Amador went 2-for-4 with a solo homer and two RBI on Thursday for Double-A Hartford.

Advice: It certainly feels like Amador has heard all of the recent chatter regarding his slow start this season at the plate in the upper minors as he’s exploded for six round-trippers over his last eight games for Triple-A Hartford. The 21-year-old top prospect still has plenty of work to do from a batting average standpoint, but the fact that he’s starting to hit for more over-the-fence pop is an extremely encouraging development. • Winn has two-hit game Thursday
Masyn Winn went 2-for-5 against the Rockies on Thursday.

Advice: It was a quiet night for the Cardinals offense, but Winn returned from a back injury and added another two hits out of the leadoff spot. His average is up to .311 with an .804 OPS on the season. In his last 25 games, Winn is 32-for-89 (.359) with three home runs and three stolen bases. Rotoworld Thursday, 7:53 pm
