    • Activated from IL, optioned
The Dodgers activated Hurt (shoulder) from the 60-day injured list and optioned him to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Friday, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Advice: Hurt was originally placed on the 15-day injured list April 20 with right shoulder inflammation, but he was transferred to the 60-day IL one week later. He began his rehab assignment with Oklahoma City on June 6, and over his eight minor-league appearances, he's given up five runs on seven hits and 10 walks while striking out 16 over nine frames. To make room for Hurt on the 40-man roster, the Dodgers transferred Max Muncy (oblique) to the 60-day injured list Friday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:59 pm

    • Slight chance at 2024 return
Graveman (shoulder) is in the middle of a throwing program and has a chance at returning in September, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Graveman underwent surgery to repair a torn labrum and clean up his rotator cuff January 10 and was expected to miss the entirety of the 2024 campaign. However, he's been participating in a throwing program and hasn't ruled out a return late in the regular season. Still, Graveman has plenty of steps to complete before reaching that point. • Kendall Graveman (shoulder) could return in 2024
Kendall Graveman (shoulder) told reporters on Friday that he’s in the middle of a throwing program and there’s at least an outside chance that he could return before the 2024 season concludes.

Advice: Graveman underwent surgery in mid-January to repair a torn labrum and clean up the rotator cuff in his right shoulder. The initial expectation was that he would miss the entire 2024 season — and that’s still the most likely scenario — but if everything goes according to plan and he suffers no setbacks along the way, there’s a chance Graveman could return at some point in September. • Grant Hartwig undergoes knee surgery on Friday
The Mets announced that Grant Hartwig underwent successful surgery on Friday to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee.

Advice: The right-hander is expected to be sidelined for six-to-eight weeks while recovering from the procedure. The 26-year-old hurler has registered a 6.75 ERA over 6 2/3 innings out of the Mets’ bullpen this season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:52 pm
    • Tears meniscus, out 6-8 weeks
Hartwig underwent surgery Friday to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee and will be out six to eight weeks, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

Advice: Hartwig made four appearances for the Mets this season but has spent most of his time at Triple-A Syracuse, where he's logged a 2.31 ERA across 23.1 innings. He'll be sidelined until at least August as he recovers from the torn meniscus. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:51 pm
    • Marlins outright Kent Emanuel to Triple-A
Marlins sent LHP Kent Emanuel outright to Triple-A Jacksonville.

Advice: The 32-year-old left-hander had been designated for assignment on Wednesday, but he passed through waivers unclaimed and will continue to function as extra bullpen depth for the Marlins. Emanuel holds a 7.56 ERA, 1.56 WHIP and a 6/3 K/BB ratio over 8 1/3 innings with the Marlins this season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:47 pm

    • Yankees recall Yoendrys Gomez from Triple-A
Yankees recalled RHP Yoendrys Gomez from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Advice: The 24-year-old hurler has made just one appearance with the Yankees this season — striking out all three hitters that he faced in emphatic fashion. He has also impressed at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre where he posted a 3.13 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and a 54/26 K/BB ratio over 46 innings in his 12 starts. He’ll add length to a Yankees’ bullpen that has been overworked recently. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:45 pm
    • Reinstated from IL
Junis (shoulder) was activated from the 60-day injured list Friday.

Advice: After making the Brewers' rotation to start the season, Junis only made one start before being placed on the IL with a pinched nerve in his throwing shoulder. A few weeks later, his recovery was delayed after being hit in the head by a ball during batting practice. However, after two months, Junis will finally return to Milwaukee's active roster. While he threw a four-inning simulated game this week, Junis is expected to work out of the bullpen before eventually re-entering the rotation. Bradley Blalock was optioned to Double-A Biloxi in a corresponding move. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:35 pm

    • Padres recall Tom Cosgrove from Triple-A El Paso
Padres recalled LHP Tom Cosgrove from Triple-A El Paso.

Advice: The Padres wanted to add a fresh arm to their bullpen over the weekend, so Cosgrove will get another opportunity with the big-league club. The 28-year-old southpaw has been hit exceptionally hard in 10 appearances out of the Padres’ bullpen this season, posting a 10.50 ERA, 1.83 WHIP and a 13/5 K/BB ratio across 12 innings. Adam Mazur was optioned to Triple-A in a corresponding move on Friday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:34 pm
