      Advice: Perdomo was cleared for at-bats in the Arizona Complex League over the weekend, and the club has since determined that he's ready to face stronger competition.       Perdomo (knee) started at shortstop and went 1-for-3 with a run scored in a rehab game for the Diamondbacks' rookie-level Arizona Complex League affiliate Saturday.

      Advice: Perdomo, who played five innings in the field, made his second ACL appearance after getting four at-bats Friday as the designated hitter. The organization's plan calls for Perdomo to finish out the weekend in the ACL before moving on to a higher-level affiliate. A return from the 10-day injured list later in the week is a possibility.       Harper went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, a walk and three total runs scored in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Cardinals.

      Advice: Harper provided the Phillies with extra breathing room, taking St. Louis reliever John King deep in the seventh inning. Over the previous 10 games, Harper took a small step back, batting .257 (9-for-35) with three home runs and seven RBI to close out May.       Joey Meneses drove in two runs while going 2-for-4 in a victory over Atlanta on Thursday for the Nationals.

      Geraldo Perdomo (knee) will begin a minor league rehab assignment on Friday in the Rookie-level Arizona Complex League.

      Perdomo (knee) will play in the Arizona Complex League this weekend before heading out on a rehab assignment early next week, Arizona Sports reports.

      Advice: Perdomo suffered a right meniscus tear April 3 and had surgery. The report does not indicate which minor-league affiliate he'll be joining or give an estimated number of reps he'll need.       Meneses is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against Atlanta, Bobby Blanco of MASNSports.com reports.

      Advice: Though he kept his spot on the 26-man active roster when the Nationals brought back Lane Thomas (knee) from the injured list Monday, Meneses appears to be the odd man out of the starting nine in the wake of the outfielder's return. Jesse Winker has served as the Nationals' designated hitter in two of the three games in Atlanta while Joey Gallo has started at first base twice during the series, closing off Meneses' primary avenues to playing time.
