    • Gabriel Moreno gets Sunday off vs. Mariners
Gabriel Moreno is not in the lineup for Sunday’s contest against the Mariners.

Advice: Moreno gets a day off after going 0-for-6 in the first two games of the series against Seattle. Tucker Barnhart will handle catching duties and hit seventh against Logan Gilbert and the Mariners for the series finale. Rotoworld 56 minutes ago

    • Takes seat Sunday
Westburg is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Athletics.

Advice: Westburg started the past 16 games and posted a 1.057 OPS during that stretch, but he'll receive a breather Sunday while in the midst of a 4-for-20 slump. Jorge Mateo will step in at the keystone and bat ninth. Rotowire.com Today, 7:34 am

    • Stellar in second rehab outing
Woo (elbow) fired 3.1 scoreless innings in a rehab start for Triple-A Tacoma against El Paso on Saturday, allowing two hits and recording six strikeouts.

Advice: Woo was impressive for the second time in as many rehab starts, locating 31 of his 49 pitches for strikes and keeping his ERA unblemished over 6.1 rehab innings overall. Per MLB.com, Woo threw all five of his pitches and topped out at 95 mph; according to general manager Justin Hollander, the plan is for the young right-hander to make at least one more rehab start with a goal of reaching 85 pitches, after which activation from the injured list would be considered. • Trea Turner picks up three hits in win over Padres
Trea Turner went 3-for-5 with a double and two runs scored in a victory Saturday over the Padres.

Advice: Turner scored on a pair of hits from Alec Bohm, the first being a two-run homer in the first and the next being an RBI single in the fifth. The 30-year-old has been outstanding over the first 28 games, with his slash of .345/.397/.483 a vast improvement over his scuffles to begin the 2023 campaign. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:22 pm

    • Swats homer in win
Mountcastle went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 7-0 win over the Athletics.

Advice: The long ball was Mountcastle's first hit in three games since he recovered from a minor knee issue. He posted multiple hits in seven of the 11 games prior to the injury. The first baseman has been solid this year, slashing .299/.364/.483 with three homers, 12 RBI, 15 runs scored and seven doubles over 99 plate appearances, though he has yet to attempt a stolen base. • Bryan Woo fans six in rehab start at Triple-A
Bryan Woo (elbow) looked sharp in his second minor league rehab start at Triple-A Tacoma on Saturday, piling up six strikeouts over 3 1/3 innings of scoreless baseball.

Advice: The 24-year-old right-hander allowed just two hits on the night and didn’t walk a batter, throwing 31 of his 49 total pitches for strikes. The M’s will likely want him to make at least one additional rehab start to get a bit more stretched out before he’s an option to return to their starting rotation, but the time is drawing near. He’s worth a look in any fantasy leagues where he may have been jettisoned. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:38 pm

    • Kyle Tucker goes deep as Astros top Rockies
Kyle Tucker smacked his sixth home run of the season on Saturday night as the Astros topped the Rockies in Mexico City.

Advice: Tucker went back-to-back with teammate Yordan Alvarez in the third inning, with Tucker’s 409-foot (97.4 mph EV) solo shot off of Cal Quantrill increasing the Astros’ lead to 4-2. He also singled, walked and scored a total of three runs in the ballgame, finishing the night 2-for-4. He’s having another terrific all-around season at the plate, slashing a robust .291/.402/.534 with six long balls, 18 RBI and five stolen bases through his first 27 games. • Launches first homer of 2024
India went 4-for-4 with a home run and four RBI in Saturday's 8-4 win over the Rangers.

Advice: The 27-year-old slugged a two-run homer off Michael Lorenzen in the seventh inning, giving the Reds what proved to be crucial insurance runs after they'd jumped out to an early 3-0 lead. The long ball was India's first of 2024, and after managing only two multi-hit performances in his first 21 games, he's now racked up six knocks in the last two. Despite the big weekend he's putting together, he's still slashing just .222/.347/.309 on the season with two steals, eight RBI and 11 runs in 81 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:59 pm
