    • Snaps slump with key homer
Torres went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Sunday's 10-6 win over Tampa Bay.

Advice: Torres came into the contest batting .156 through 10 games in May and failed to reach base in his first three plate appearances Sunday. However, he came up big in the eighth inning, smashing a three-run shot to increase the Yankees' lead to 9-5. The long ball was just his second of the season, which is a pretty significant drop-off after he went deep 25 times in 158 contests last year. Rotowire.com Today, 10:36 am

    • Continues hot stretch
Diaz went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, a walk and two runs scored Sunday against the Yankees.

Advice: Diaz launched his second homer in as many games and his third of the season. He has turned his results around in May, as he's maintained a .333 average with eight RBI and eight runs scored across 10 games. Diaz remains locked in as the Rays' leadoff hitter and should be a strong source of batting average and runs scored moving forward. Rotowire.com Today, 6:41 am

    • Homers and doubles in win
Rodriguez went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer, a double, a walk and two runs scored in Sunday's 8-4 win over the Athletics.

Advice: Rodriguez connected for his second home run of the season on a two-run blast off Alex Wood in the second. He later doubled off the top of the wall to begin the fifth and merely just missed another home run. Rodriguez was the only Mariner with multiple extra-base hits in the game and has been seeing the ball much better lately, with the last six batted balls for him all traveling at least 100 mph. The 23-year-old has endured some struggles at the plate this season but is now slashing .255/.310/.323 with 13 RBI, 16 runs, nine steals and an 11:50 BB:K in 174 plate appearances. • Lifts homer in win
Gimenez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 7-0 win over the White Sox.

Advice: Gimenez had gone 0-for-15 with one walk and a stolen base over his previous four games. He snapped the skid with a fourth-inning solo shot, his second homer of the year. The second baseman is at a .242/.307/.342 slash line with 20 RBI, 20 runs scored and five stolen bases through 38 contests. He's remained in the No. 2 spot in the order versus right-handers since Steven Kwan (hamstring) went on the injured list, but the Guardians haven't gotten much hitting from the trio of Estevan Florial, Brayan Rocchio or Tyler Freeman, who had all gotten looks at leadoff in that span. As such, Gimenez's chances to produce RBI will likely be down in the near term. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:35 pm
    • Records ninth steal
Garcia went 1-for-5 with a stolen base in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Angels.

Advice: Garcia has hit safely in eight of 11 games in May, going 12-for-47 (.255) with four doubles, four RBI and five runs scored. His steal Sunday was his first of the month and his ninth of the season, and he's yet to be caught stealing. The third baseman is slashing .238/.290/.375 with four home runs, 24 RBI and 20 runs scored over 184 plate appearances. While Garcia hasn't profiled as an ideal leadoff hitter, he's done enough to keep that spot through the first quarter of the campaign in a fairly strong lineup. • Victorious in return
Bello (4-1) picked up the win Sunday, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks over five innings against the Nationals. He struck out one.

Advice: Bello picked up right where he left off before going on the IL with a lat injury, tallying a third straight win and yielding fewer than three earned runs for a fourth consecutive outing. The two runs charged against Bello came in the fourth when Eddie Rosario swatted a two-run home run. Despite the long ball, Bello was extremely efficient, getting through five innings on 68 pitches. Bello's restrictions should lighten throughout his next few starts, beginning with a road bout with the Cardinals in St. Louis. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:59 pm

    • Julio Rodríguez crushes two-run homer as M’s roll
Julio Rodríguez crushed a two-run homer on Sunday afternoon, powering the Mariners to an 8-4 victory over the visiting Athletics.

Advice: The 23-year-old outfielder has been off to a painfully slow start at the dish this season, so it was good to see him launch a 409-foot (109.0 mph EV) two-run shot off of Alex Wood in the second inning — increasing the Mariners’ early lead to 5-0. Rodríguez also doubled, walked and scored a pair of runs in the contest, finishing the day 2-for-3. For the season, he’s slashing .255/.310/.323 with two homers, 13 RBI and nine swipes. • Bello returns with solid outing against Nationals
Brayan Bello allowed two runs on four hits in five innings in a win over the Nationals on Sunday.

Advice: Bello struck out just one and walked two, but he also allowed only one extra-base hit and an average exit velocity of just 85 mph. He didn’t miss many bats in this one, with a 19 percent whiff rate and 24 percent CSW, but it wasn’t a bad effort in his first start coming off the IL. He’ll look to build on it next week against a reeling Cardinals offense. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:40 pm

    • Gleyber Torres homers in win over Rays
Gleyber Torres went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer in a win over the Rays on Sunday.

Advice: Torres’ big fly was a 395-foot shot that left the bat at 103 mph for his second home run of the season. It’s been a rough season for Torres and was a rough week overall, going just 2-for-19 combined against the Astros and Rays. Perhaps the 27-year-old is trying to do too much in his contract season, but he’s been making more contact recently so it’s best to hold onto him in fantasy leagues because he’s too talented a hitter to keep performing at this level all season.
