      The Mariners list Woo (forearm) as their probable starter for Wednesday's game against the Royals in Seattle.

      Advice: Woo missed the first six weeks of the regular season with right elbow inflammation before returning from the 15-day injured list Friday after a trio of successful rehab starts. The right-hander was cruising through his first start of the season with the Mariners in Friday's 8-1 win over the Athletics, but he was lifted after 4.1 scoreless innings and 62 pitches upon experiencing forearm tightness. Though the fact that Woo is dealing with an injury that's seemingly related to the one that kept him on the shelf earlier this season isn't ideal, manager Scott Servais downplayed concern about the forearm issue after the game. The Mariners are still seemingly anticipating that Woo will be ready to go for his next turn through the rotation Wednesday, though fantasy managers will still want to keep tabs on his status leading up to the day of the game just to ensure the team hasn't scratched him from the start.       Candelario went 1-for-5 with a double and three RBI in Sunday's 6-5 extra-inning loss to the Giants.

      Advice: Candelario nearly missed a grand slam in the first inning and settled for a three-run double. This was just his second multi-RBI effort in 34 games this season. He's still battling a season-opening slump, but Candelario's bat has shown life of late. He's hit safely in four of the last five games, going 7-for-20 with a home run, two doubles and five RBI. Perhaps this recent five-game run will prompt a move up the batting order -- Candelario opened as the team's cleanup hitter but has since moved to the lower-third.       Rodriguez went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer, a double, a walk and two runs scored in Sunday's 8-4 win over the Athletics.

      Advice: Rodriguez connected for his second home run of the season on a two-run blast off Alex Wood in the second. He later doubled off the top of the wall to begin the fifth and merely just missed another home run. Rodriguez was the only Mariner with multiple extra-base hits in the game and has been seeing the ball much better lately, with the last six batted balls for him all traveling at least 100 mph. The 23-year-old has endured some struggles at the plate this season but is now slashing .255/.310/.323 with 13 RBI, 16 runs, nine steals and an 11:50 BB:K in 174 plate appearances.       Flaherty (0-3) was tagged with a loss Sunday after he pitched 6.2 innings, surrendering three runs on seven hits while striking out seven batters in a 9-3 defeat to Houston.

      Advice: Flaherty opened Sunday's contest by firing five scoreless innings before Kyle Tucker launched a two-run home run in the top of the sixth inning. The Astros scratched across another run on him in the seventh frame before the right-hander's day came to an end with two outs in the inning. The performance marked his third straight quality start and sixth of the season over eight outings. Flaherty now owns a 3.88 ERA and 1.05 WHIP with 63 strikeouts over 48.2 innings in eight starts in 2024 and will look to earn his first win of the year in his next projected start Saturday on the road in Arizona.       Julio Rodríguez crushed a two-run homer on Sunday afternoon, powering the Mariners to an 8-4 victory over the visiting Athletics.

      Advice: The 23-year-old outfielder has been off to a painfully slow start at the dish this season, so it was good to see him launch a 409-foot (109.0 mph EV) two-run shot off of Alex Wood in the second inning — increasing the Mariners’ early lead to 5-0. Rodríguez also doubled, walked and scored a pair of runs in the contest, finishing the day 2-for-3. For the season, he’s slashing .255/.310/.323 with two homers, 13 RBI and nine swipes.       Jeimer Candelario just missed a grand slam on Sunday, settling for a three-run double against the Giants.

      Wheeler pitched four innings, allowing six runs on six hits and three walks while striking out two batters in Sunday's 7-6 extra-inning loss to the Marlins. He did not factor into the decision.

      Advice: Wheeler didn't have his best stuff Sunday, matching a season-high six hits given up while the two strikeouts were a season low. Most notably, the right-hander gave up a three-run homer to Josh Bell in the bottom of the third inning, which was only the fourth long ball surrendered by Wheeler in 2024. The 33-year-old still owns an impressive 2.53 ERA and 0.99 WHIP with 65 strikeouts over 53.1 innings in nine starts this season, and his next projected outing is set to come Friday at home versus the Nationals.       After sitting out four straight games, Jackson Chourio went 0-for-2 with a walk in his return to the lineup Sunday against the Cardinals.

      Advice: Chourio had a nicely hit liner, but it was caught by Brandon Crawford at short. The Brewers could have sent Chourio down last week, but they thought the break to work on things was a better idea.       Jack Flaherty yielded three runs in 6 2/3 innings Sunday in a loss to the Astros.

      Advice: Still no breaks at all for Flaherty, who is 0-3 in spite of a 3.88 ERA. He really should have given up just two runs today, but Joey Wentz allowed an inherited runner to score from first after coming on with two outs against the bottom of the Astros lineup in the seventh.
