    • Four straight multi-hit games
Duran started at third base and went 2-for-3 with a walk in Sunday's 3-1 loss to Colorado.

Advice: Duran made a fifth consecutive start and has hit safely in all five, including multiple hits in the last four of those contests. It's a relatively light hitting streak; he's 10-for-17 during that stretch with with just one RBI and 10 singles. Still, opportunity matters. With playing time available at third base, left field and designated hitter due to injuries, Duran has started seven of the last eight games. Rotowire.com 17 minutes ago

    • Gives Reds early lead
Candelario went 1-for-5 with a double and three RBI in Sunday's 6-5 extra-inning loss to the Giants.

Advice: Candelario nearly missed a grand slam in the first inning and settled for a three-run double. This was just his second multi-RBI effort in 34 games this season. He's still battling a season-opening slump, but Candelario's bat has shown life of late. He's hit safely in four of the last five games, going 7-for-20 with a home run, two doubles and five RBI. Perhaps this recent five-game run will prompt a move up the batting order -- Candelario opened as the team's cleanup hitter but has since moved to the lower-third. The Reds are last in MLB with a .556 OPS out of the cleanup spot. Rotowire.com 38 minutes ago
    • Three hits, homer
Wisdom went 3-for-4 with a solo home run during Sunday's 5-4 win over the Pirates.

Advice: Wisdom reached four times during the extra-inning win and belted a solo homer off Aroldis Chapman in the 10th frame. With Cody Bellinger and Seiya Suzuki healthy, starts will likely come at a premium for Wisdom despite slashing .321/.441/.679 across 34 plate appearances this season. • Plays first two rehab games
Diaz (calf) went 0-for-3 with two walks over his first two rehab games with Triple-A Las Vegas on Friday and Sunday.

Advice: Diaz has yet to play a full game, but he did take a trio of plate appearances as the designated hitter when kicking off the rehab assignment Friday. He then progressed to playing defense Sunday, logging five innings at third base in the win over Round Rock. Diaz will probably continue to be given a day off between games for the time being given his age and the length of time it's taken for him to be able to return to game action. • Snaps skid with homer
Goldschmidt went 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBI in Sunday's win over the Brewers.

Advice: Goldschmidt needed Sunday's performance in a big way; he entered the contest riding a 1-for-32 skid. He finally snapped out of it with a solo homer in the fifth inning, followed by a game-tying RBI single in the sixth. However, he also struck out twice, giving him an uncharacteristic 2:15 BB:K over his last eight games. On the year, Goldschmidt is now slashing .197/.280/.279 with six extra-base hits and 13 RBI through 38 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:07 pm
    • Goes back-to-back in first inning
Cronenworth went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 4-0 win over the Dodgers.

Advice: Cronenworth got things started for the Padres by going back-to-back with Fernando Tatis off Walker Buehler in the opening inning. He went hitless the rest of the afternoon but continues to be one of the Padres' best bats. He had a 12-game hit streak that came to an end Friday and has been showing increased power early on. His .503 slug percentage is fourth among all first basemen and is a significant personal improvement after averaging a .384 slugging over his last two seasons. For the year, Cronenworth is now slashing .285/.349/.503 with seven homers, 27 RBI, 20 runs and a 14:27 BB:K in 169 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:50 pm
    • Goes deep in win
Fry went 1-for-2 with a two-run homer, two runs scored and two walks in Sunday's win over the White Sox.

Advice: Fry belted a two-run shot in the fourth inning and later reached base twice more. The breakout utility man has gone 10-for-28 (.357) with four extra-base hits over his last 10 games. Through 27 games, Fry is slashing .309/.437/.515 with three home runs and 14 runs scored. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:47 pm

    • Delivers extra-inning HR
Joe went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored during Sunday's 5-4 extra-inning loss to the Cubs.

Advice: Joe spearheaded the Pirates' comeback effort, plating Oneil Cruz on a leadoff homer in the bottom of the 10th inning. However, his long ball wasn't enough, as Pittsburgh trailed by three entering the frame. Joe has gone yard in back-to-back games, bringing his season total up to five homers in 134 plate appearances. • Goes deep in loss
Ford went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Sunday's 6-5 extra-inning loss to the Giants.

Advice: Ford's homer tied the game at 5-5 in the eighth inning. The 31-year-old has gone 2-for-15 with a walk and two strikeouts over five games since he re-signed with the Reds on May 8 following his release from the organization May 4. Ford slashed .228/.323/.475 with 16 homers and 34 RBI over 84 contests with the Mariners last season, so he may have some power upside if he can claim a regular role. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:31 pm
