    • Lifts homer in win
Gimenez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sundays' 7-0 win over the White Sox.

Advice: Gimenez had gone 0-for-15 with one walk and a stolen base over his previous four games. He snapped the skid with a fourth-inning solo shot, his second homer of the year. The second baseman is at a .242/.307/.342 slash line with 20 RBI, 20 runs scored and five stolen bases through 38 contests. He's remained in the No. 2 spot in the order versus right-handers since Steven Kwan (hamstring) went on the injured list, but the Guardians haven't gotten much hitting from the trio of Estevan Florial, Brayan Rocchio or Tyler Freeman, who had all gotten looks at leadoff in that span. As such, Gimenez's chances to produce RBI will likely be down in the near term. Rotowire.com 10 minutes ago
    • Plays first two rehab games
Diaz (calf) went 0-for-3 with two walks over his first two rehab games with Triple-A Las Vegas on Friday and Sunday.

Advice: Diaz has yet to play a full game, but he did take a trio of plate appearances as the designated hitter when kicking off the rehab assignment Friday. He then progressed to playing on defense Sunday, logging five innings at third base in the win over Round Rock. Diaz will probably continue to be given a day off between games for the time being, given his age and the length of time it's taken for him to be able to return to game action. • Gets going with home run
Bogaerts went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Sundays 4-0 win over the Dodgers.

Advice: Bogaerts gave the Padres some extra breathing room with a solo shot off Gus Varland in the fifth. The long ball was his first since April 21, his first RBI since April 25 and his first hit in 17 at-bats since May 6. Bogaerts is still searching for a spark offensively this season, as he's slashing just .211/.264/.301 with three homers, 12 RBI, 22 runs and a 12:36 BB:K in 178 plate appearances. • Plays full rehab game again
Gelof (oblique) played a full game at second base in Triple-A Las Vegas' win over Round Rock on Sunday, going 0-for-3 with an RBI sacrifice fly and a walk.

Advice: Gelof's ability to play a full game for the second straight day is certainly an encouraging sign for his progress from his oblique injury. The young infielder could be on the verge of activation, although the Athletics will undoubtedly evaluate him carefully Monday to see how he's responded to the back-to-back full workloads over the weekend. • Goes back-to-back in first inning
Cronenworth went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 4-0 win over the Dodgers.

Advice: Cronenworth got things started for the Padres by going back-to-back with Fernando Tatis off Walker Buehler in the opening inning. He went hitless the rest of the afternoon but continues to be one of the Padres' best bats. He had a 12-game hit streak that came to an end Friday and has been showing increased power early on. His .503 slug percentage is fourth among all first basemen and is a significant personal improvement after averaging a .384 slug over his last two seasons. For the year, Cronenworth is now slashing .285/.349/.503 with seven homers, 27 RBI, 20 runs and a 14:27 BB:K in 169 plate appearances. Rotowire.com 55 minutes ago

    • Picks up fifth steal
Espinal went 2-for-5 with a stolen base in Sunday's 6-5 extra-inning loss to the Giants.

Advice: Espinal was one of two Reds with multiple hits in the game, and it was his first such performance since April 24. The infielder hit a poor .121 (4-for-33) over 11 contests in between multi-hit efforts. He's slashing .186/.245/.244 with one home run, 12 RBI, six runs scored and five steals over 30 games this season. Espinal has sat out the last four games where the Reds have faced a right-handed pitcher, though he's still been in the lineup against the last three southpaws they've faced. • Three hits, steal in loss
India went 3-for-5 with a stolen base in Sunday's 6-5 extra-inning loss to the Giants.

Advice: India posted his second multi-hit effort of May, but he's still hitting a modest .216 (8-for-37) for the month. All three of his hits Sunday were singles. The second baseman is up to a .225/.331/.310 slash line with two home runs, four steals, 11 RBI, 12 runs scored, three doubles and a triple over 35 contests this season. Despite his lackluster hitting, India's fourth on the team in batting average and sixth in OPS, so it's unlikely he'll lose a starting role any time soon. Rotowire.com Today, 7:36 pm
    • Two hits, swipes bag Sunday
Julien went 2-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: Julien led the game off with a single in the top of the first inning before later adding another base knock in the top of the eighth, stealing second base and scoring on an RBI double by Max Kepler in the frame. The stolen base was his fifth of the season and third over the last four games. Julien is now batting .224 with seven home runs, 15 RBI, 21 runs scored and five stolen bases over 125 at-bats in 40 games this year. Rotowire.com Today, 7:23 pm

    • Swipes two bags in loss
Stott went 2-for-2 with three walks, two stolen bases and a run scored in Sunday's 7-6 extra-inning loss to the Marlins.

Advice: Stott found a way to get on base in each of his plate appearances Sunday while also swiping two bags in the loss. He has now recorded 10 stolen bases on the season while only getting caught once. Stott has now recorded at least one hit in eight out of his last nine contests, batting .414 with four extra-base hits, nine RBI, nine runs scored and five stolen bases over that stretch.
