    • Bailey Ober hit around in no-decision against PIT
Bailey Ober allowed four runs on seven hits in 4 2/3 innings in a no-decision against the Pirates on Sunday.

Advice: This now marks five straight mediocre starts for Ober, who has allowed 20 earned runs in his last 23 1/3 innings over those five starts. It was easy to explain away Ober’s poor stats early in the season when he only had one bad start, but this has been a rough stretch. The tall right-hander saw his velocity up across his entire pitch mix today, and the Pirates certainly didn’t hit him overly hard, but he did allow seven hard-hit baseballs. There are no glaring red flags, and you have to keep Ober in your lineup for next week’s game against the Athletics. Rotoworld 14 minutes ago
    • Abrams has steal, three RBI in win over Braves
CJ Abrams went 1-for-5 with three RBI and a steal in a win over the Braves.

Advice: Abrams drove in all three runs on a double off Aaron Bummer in the fourth inning that broke the game wide open for the Nationals. He also had two hard-hit balls that both resulted in outs. The 23-year-old has had a rough go of it over the last month, going 28-for-136 (.206) since the calendar flipped to May with a 35:2 K:BB rate in 33 games. Abrams has a ton of talent with 10 home runs and 10 steals already on the season. He’s also still striking out just 21 percent of the time on the season, so strikeouts haven’t been a major issue. He has pulled the ball far less since April and hit the ball on the ground more often, so perhaps he needs to adjust to the way pitchers have adapted to his hot start. Rotoworld 19 minutes ago

    • Arozarena has two hits, RBI in loss to BAL
Randy Arozarena went 2-for-4 with an RBI in a loss to Baltimore on Sunday.

Advice: The two hits are nice, and Arozarena now has five hits in his last six games; however, the 29-year-old had three batted balls on the day and none of them were hit harder than 85 mph. On the positive side, Arozarena is now 8-for-22 in June and is pulling the ball and hitting it on the line more while striking out just 11 percent of the time. He seems to be trading some power for contact and considering he’s still on pace to steal 20 or more bases, raising his batting average and increasing his stolen base opportunities would be welcome, even if it does come at the expense of some power. • J.D. Martinez drives in pair in win over Phillies
J.D. Martinez drove in a pair of runs in a victory over the Phillies on Sunday.

Advice: Martinez tied the game at 3-3 with a two-run single in the sixth inning. The 36-year-old has driven in 18 runs since joining the Mets near the end of April and slashed .271/.323/.444 in the process. Rotoworld Today, 10:40 am

    • Not starting Sunday
Baez is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's series finale against the Brewers.

Advice: Baez will begin Sunday's game in the dugout after starting in each of the first two games of the series, going 1-7 with two strikeouts. The lefty-hitting Zach McKinstry will start at shortstop and bat seventh against Milwaukee right-hander Bryse Wilson. Rotowire.com Today, 7:05 am

    • Taylor Ward walks three times in loss to Astros
Taylor Ward walked three times on Saturday in the Angels’ loss to the Astros.

Advice: Ward has been at the epicenter of recent trade speculation leading up to next month’s All-Star break and figures to be on the move at some point with the Angels not really in contention this season. The 30-year-old outfielder, who holds a robust .770 OPS with 11 homers and two steals through 63 games this season, isn’t a free agent until 2027, so he’s going to require a considerable haul to pry him loose from Los Angeles. • Freddie Freeman doubles twice in blowout win
Freddie Freeman doubled twice and drove home a pair of runs in a blowout win Saturday over the Yankees.

Advice: One of the doubles was a rare misplay from Alex Verdugo, but it still counts in the scoreboard. The 34-year-old now has doubled 19 times on the season while driving in 40 runs. Even with a mediocre May, Freeman’s slash of .293/.399/.488 is awfully hard to complain about. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:04 pm
    • Up to 11 saves
Doval earned the save in Saturday's 3-1 win over Texas, working around a hit and a walk in a scoreless ninth inning.

Advice: Things got dicey for Doval in the ninth, as the Rangers got the tying runs into scoring position with two outs. However, the right-hander would coax a flyout off the bat of Leody Taveras to lock down his 11th save of the year and his second in as many days. The 26-year-old Doval lowered his ERA to 3.91 with a 1.58 WHIP and 31:18 K:BB across 25.1 innings this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:33 pm
