      Advice: Munoz has been dealing with a back issue for most of June, but he's still seen high-leverage work when available. In fact, Munoz was deployed in the eighth inning Friday to face the top of the Rangers' lineup, while Ryne Stanek got the call in the ninth and earned the save. Munoz has picked up three holds and a loss over his last four outings, but it seems this is less about easing the right-hander back from injury and more about a matchups-based approach to the late innings for now. Should Seattle switch to a closer committee, it appears Stanek is set to pick up a larger share of the saves.       Hunter Greene threw five innings of two-run ball against the Brewers on Friday.

      Advice: Greene sported some of his best velocity of the year tonight, but he walked five and gave up a homer to William Contreras, leading to the early exit.       Advice: Stone's three-start winning streak was snapped, but he picked up his first quality start over three outings in June. The right-hander has been steady this year -- this was just the fourth time in 13 starts he's given up three runs. He's now at a 3.01 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 56:23 K:BB over 74.2 innings.       Gavin Stone didn’t factor into the decision Saturday against the Royals after allowing three runs over seven innings with three strikeouts.

      Advice: Stone allowed four hits and walked two while throwing 61-of-94 pitches in the strike zone. The 25-year-old allowed all three runs on a long roundtripper by Salvador Perez. Minus that gaffe, it was another solid start for Stone against a pretty tough Kansas City lineup. He’s currently scheduled to face the Rockies on Thursday in Colorado.       Advice: Greene coughed up a solo homer to William Contreras in the third before Milwaukee scratched across another run in the fifth. Greene generated 14 swinging strikes but struggled with his command, matching his season high with five walks. He needed 105 pitches to complete five frames.       Edwin Díaz pitched a scoreless ninth inning for the Mets to earn the save on Friday against the Padres. He struck out two and stranded a runner on third base.

      Advice: Díaz and the Mets really needed this one. You could hear a pin drop in Citi Field when Jurickson Profar led off the inning with a single, but Díaz was able to work around it for his first save in 39 days.       Advice: The 33-year-old backstop tried to take things on a day-to-day basis, but ultimately the Rockies thought that it would be better to sit him down for an extended period of time to allow him to fully heal. He was held out for the rest of the series against Minnesota with the hope he would be available for the weekend series against Pittsburgh, but the 33-year-old catcher will be on the shelf for an extended period of time.
