    • Plates three during win
Turang went 2-for-3 with three RBI, a run scored, a walk and stole a base during Tuesday's 8-2 win over the Rays.

Advice: Turang's RBI single in the second inning drove in Jackson Chourio to give Milwaukee a 2-0 lead, and his seventh-inning double scored another two runs, pushing the score to 8-2. The 24-year-old second baseman continues to look like a reformed hitter, batting .312 through 93 at-bats this season -- a drastic improvement from his .218 average last year -- and his 14 stolen bases rank second in the majors. • Turang drives in three as Brewers down Rays
Brice Turang went 2-for-3 with a double, three RBI, and a run scored in Tuesday’s win over the Rays.

Advice: Turang singled in the second inning to bring home Jackson Chourio, giving the Brewers an early 2-0 lead, but that was just the start of a strong night for the young second baseman. Turang would later double in the seventh inning, driving in two more runs to put the Brewers up 8-2. Turang has upped his RBI total to 12 on the season and his hitting a solid .312 through the first month of the season.

    • Rutschman has two hits in win over Yankees
Adley Rutschman went 2-for-4 with an RBI in a win over the Yankees on Tuesday.

Advice: It wasn’t an exceptional day for Rutschman on Tuesday, but he was the only Oriole to pick up multiple hits. His two singles upped his triple slash to .322/.362/.449 with 18 RBI on the season. He has a surprisingly low 5.7 percent walk rate on the season, but the rest of the profile has been exactly as expected for one of the best fantasy catchers in the game. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:26 pm
    • Fans nine in no-decision
Gibson came away with a no-decision in the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Tigers, allowing one run on four hits and two walks over seven innings in a 2-1 win. He struck out nine.

Advice: A Riley Greene solo shot in the fourth inning was the only damage off Gibson, but he left the mound in line for the loss as he got out-dueled by Jack Flaherty. The Cardinals were able to rally in the ninth to take Gibson off the hook, however. He generated 30 called or swinging strikes among his 98 pitches while setting a new season high in strikeouts, and the 36-year-old righty sports a 3.79 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 29:14 K:BB through 38 innings. Gibson lines up to make his next start at home early next week against the Mets. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:04 pm
    • Ramping up baseball work
White Sox manager Pedro Grifol said Tuesday that Robert (hip) is taking batting practice and running at 80 percent, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Advice: The 26-year-old is about halfway through the short end of his initial recovery timeline of 6-to-8 weeks, and he appears to be a bit ahead of schedule. Robert could be ready to rejoin the White Sox in mid-May, but the organization is likely to remain cautious as he ramps up his baseball activities over the next couple weeks. • Throwing bullpen session
Snell (thigh) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session Wednesday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Advice: Snell landed on the shelf last week with a Grade 2 adductor strain, but he wasn't shut down from throwing for long. The left-hander hopes to spend close to the 15-day minimum on the injured list, though he seems likely to be sidelined a bit longer. A specific timeline for Snell's return could come into focus as he ramps up his throwing program. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:41 pm

    • Kyle Gibson allows one run Tuesday in no-decision
Kyle Gibson struck out nine and allowed one run over seven innings on Tuesday in a no-decision against the Tigers.

Advice: Gibson drew the starting assignment for the opening contest of Tuesday’s twin bill in the Motor City and held serve with Jack Flaherty in a throwback pitcher’s duel. A fourth inning solo homer by Riley Greene represented the lone tally against him in this one. He’ll bring a serviceable 3.79 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 29/14 K/BB ratio across 38 innings (six starts) into a home outing on Monday against the Mets. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:11 pm
    • Sits again Tuesday
Encarnacion-Strand (hand) isn't in the Reds' lineup for Tuesday's game against the Padres, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Advice: Encarnacion-Strand will sit for the third straight game after taking a pitch off his left hand during Saturday's win over Texas. He was available off the bench Monday and may still be used if needed Tuesday, but Jeimer Candelario will be the one starting at first base while Santiago Espinal covers the hot corner. • CES (wrist) to miss third straight game Tuesday
Christian Encarnacion-Strand (wrist) remains out of the lineup for Tuesday’s showdown against the Padres.

Advice: Encarnacion-Strand will miss his third consecutive contest since being drilled on the hand during Saturday’s game against the Rangers. The positive news here is that he didn’t suffer any fractures and should be ready to return at some point this week. It’ll be Santiago Espinal handling the hot corner on Tuesday night in his absence.
