      Luis Robert Jr. (hip) belted a solo homer on Tuesday in a minor league rehab contest for Triple-A Charlotte.

      Advice: Robert made some noise right away in his first rehab contest at the Triple-A level with a towering blast in his first at-bat of the night. He finished 1-for-3 with a pair of runs scored. The 26-year-old fantasy stalwart will likely get a couple more rehab games under his belt before returning to Chicago, but he’s not far away at this juncture. During the streak, he has a double in four of those six games, though he's added just two RBI and has not hit a home run since May 8. Nonetheless, the first baseman is putting together a strong campaign with a .280/.317/.468 slash line, six homers, 20 RBI, 28 runs scored, 15 doubles, one triple and two stolen bases over 47 games.       Nationals activated OF Lane Thomas from the 10-day injured list.

      Advice: Thomas has been on the IL for just over a month with a knee injury. The 28-year-old was tremendous in 2023 but has gotten off to a brutal start in 2024 with a .184/.250/.253 slash line in 22 games. He will remain a fixture in the Nationals’ lineup and should turn things around in the coming weeks. While he may not reach the highs of 2023, he remains a quality MLB outfielder and his 11 steals on the season signal the type of fantasy upside he has.
