Riley (side) isn't overly concerned with his long-term availability after being removed early from Sunday's game, and he considers himself day-to-day, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Advice: Riley experienced left side tightness in batting practice Sunday and was ultimately removed from Atlanta's contest against the Mets in the fourth inning after going 1-for-2 at the plate. The third baseman doesn't know yet if he'll be sent for an MRI. With the team launching a three-game home series against the Cubs on Monday, there's a chance that Riley misses some, if not all, of the series as Atlanta will likely be cautious with the talented 26-year-old. • Struggles with command
Wilson allowed two runs on five hits and five walks over four-plus innings in a no-decision Sunday. He struck out one in the loss to St. Louis.

Advice: Wilson walked home a run in the second inning but managed to hold the Cardinals to one run through four frames. He was knocked out of the contest after coughing up a home run to Paul Goldschmidt and a double to Alec Burleson to begin the fifth inning. Wilson has produced a shaky 16:13 K:BB over his last four starts but owns a 2.21 ERA during that span. He's produced a 2.65 ERA through 34 innings this season. Wilson's currently projected to start in Houston next weekend. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:15 pm

    • Austin Riley (side) hopeful to return this week
Austin Riley (side) told reporters on Sunday night that he’s hopeful to return to the Braves’ starting lineup at some point during the upcoming week.

Advice: Riley initially felt something in his side during batting practice but didn’t say anything. He then felt the discomfort again in the third inning on Sunday night and continued to play through it. Finally in the fifth inning, it was enough of a concern to mention something, which prompted his exit from the ballgame. He’ll probably miss a couple of games as a precautionary measure, but it doesn’t sound like Riley should require a trip to the injured list. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:29 pm

    • Swipes two bags in loss
Stott went 2-for-2 with three walks, two stolen bases and a run scored in Sunday's 7-6 extra-inning loss to the Marlins.

Advice: Stott found a way to get on base in each of his plate appearances Sunday while also swiping two bags in the loss. He has recorded 10 stolen bases on the season while getting caught only once. Stott has notched at least one hit in eight out of his last nine contests, batting .414 with four extra-base hits, nine RBI, nine runs scored and five stolen bases over that stretch. • Austin Riley leaves game with left side tightness
Austin Riley was removed from Sunday night’s battle against the Mets in the fifth inning due to tightness in his left side.

Advice: The Braves are calling his exit precautionary, but there’s still cause for concern. It’s unlikely that the club will have any additional updates until Monday. Fantasy managers should be sure to have a contingency plan in place for next week in the event that Riley is forced to miss a couple of games. Zack Short replaced him at third base on Sunday and could be in line for increased action if Riley does miss any time. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:26 pm

    • Exits early versus Mets
Riley was removed from Sunday's contest against the Mets in bottom of the fourth inning with left side tightness, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Advice: Riley's removal from the contest has been described as precautionary according to Atlanta. The third baseman finished his night going 1-for-2 with a single and a strikeout. Riley's status will likely be updated following the conclusion of the team's series finale with New York. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:22 pm

    • Struggles versus Miami
Wheeler pitched four innings, allowing six runs on six hits and three walks while striking out two batters in Sunday's 7-6 extra-inning loss to the Marlins. He did not factor into the decision.

Advice: Wheeler didn't have his best stuff Sunday, matching a season-high six hits given up while the two strikeouts were a season low. Most notably, the right-hander gave up a three-run homer to Josh Bell in the bottom of the third inning, which was only the fourth long ball surrendered by Wheeler in 2024. The 33-year-old still owns an impressive 2.53 ERA and 0.99 WHIP with 65 strikeouts over 53.1 innings in nine starts this season, and his next projected outing is set to come Friday at home versus the Nationals. • Bryse Wilson walks five in sloppy outing
Bryse Wilson yielded two runs in four-plus innings Sunday in a no-decision versus the Cardinals.

Advice: Wilson walked five and allowed five hits, so he was lucky to get out of this one with his ERA intact. He’s at 2.65 in five starts and six relief appearances this season. Next up for him will be a start in Houston next weekend. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:46 pm

    • Corbin Carroll has two hits against Orioles
Corbin Carroll went 2-for-5 with a double in a 9-2 win over the Orioles on Sunday.

Advice: The effort put Carroll over the Mendoza Line on the season, as the 23-year-old is now hitting .201/.287/.266. Perhaps more encouraging, both of Carroll’s hits left the bat at over 100 mph. There are still real concerns about his ability to lift and drive the ball, and his home run projections all feel a bit high, but it’s nice to see him making authoritative contact.
