    • Reynaldo López allows three over five in loss
      Reynaldo López allowed three runs in five innings while picking up a loss Tuesday to the Mariners.

      Advice: López allowed six hits over those five frames, and he struck out seven while walking three with Josh Rojas getting all three free passes. The 30-year-old pitched better than his line suggested, but a two-run homer by Jorge Polanco turned an excellent outing into a shaky one from a fantasy perspective.     • Mason Miller strikes out side in earning save
      Mason Miller struck out all three batters he faced Tuesday for a save against the Pirates.

      Advice: It’s fine to marvel at Miller’s numbers in the closer’s role to date, but this is what an ace-level talent should be doing while pitching two or three innings per week. There’s a very good chance Miller would struggle to hold up as a starter, but we might never find out for sure. As is, Miller has a 1.35 ERA and eight saves in 13 1/3 innings.     • Robert Suarez gets 10th save in 10 chances
      Robert Suarez earned his 10th save with a perfect ninth against the Reds on Tuesday.

      Advice: The Padres haven’t missed Josh Hader thus far, though it would have been nice if they had redistributed Hader’s money to the offense. Suarez is 10-for-10 saving games with a 0.71 ERA in 12 2/3 innings. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:05 pm

      Miller picked up the save Tuesday against Oakland, striking out three during a perfect ninth inning.

      Advice: Miller capped off April with yet another dominant display, punching out all three batters he faced. He appeared in 11 games during the month, allowing four hits and three walks with 30 strikeouts over 12.1 scoreless innings.       Hader (1-2) earned the win Tuesday, allowing one unearned run on one hit and one walk with four strikeouts over two innings against the Guardians.

      Advice: Hader surrendered a double to David Fry in the 10th inning that plated designated runner Josh Naylor as the go-ahead run. Still, Hader ended up with his first victory of the campaign following a Victor Caratini walk-off homer. After a bounce-back 2023 season, Hader looks to be back in his 2022 form when he posted a 5.22 ERA across 56 appearances, owning a 6.39 ERA across 12.2 innings this year.     • Semien doubles and triples in two-hit night
      Marcus Semien went 2-for-5 with a double, a triple, and two runs scored in Tuesday’s win over the Nationals.

      Advice: Semien played the role of catalyst for the Rangers on Tuesday night, as he would eventually come around to score on both of his hits on the evening in a game the Rangers won handily by a score of 7-1.       Greene went 4-for-9 with a double, two home runs and three total RBI across both games of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Cardinals.

      Advice: Greene provided all of Detroit's offense with a solo home run in the first game Tuesday, a 2-1 loss, but he really got going in the nightcap. He collected three hits in the 11-6 win, including a double and another homer, his seventh of the season.       Helsley struck out two in a perfect ninth inning Tuesday to record his 10th save of the season in the first game of a doubleheader against the Tigers.

      Advice: All 10 pitches Helsley fired were strikes, and he hit triple digits on the radar gun with three of them.       Riley Greene went 3-for-5 with a solo homer and two RBI to lead the Tigers to an 11-6 win over the Cardinals in the second game of Tuesday’s doubleheader.

      Advice: Greene homered in both games of Tuesday’s twin bill at Comerica Park and is now up to seven round-trippers on the season. The 23-year-old former top prospect bashed a seventh-inning solo shot off reliever Giovanny Gallegos in the nightcap affair after taking veteran Kyle Gibson deep in the front end of the doubleheader.
