    • Nabs steal in win
Walker went 1-for-4 with a walk, one stolen base and two runs scored in Monday's 6-5 win over the Reds.

Advice: The steal was Walker's first of the year, which is a bit of a surprise since he stole 11 bases last season. He was caught stealing on his first two attempts in 2024. The first baseman has struggled in May, going 8-for-38 (.211) over 11 contests this month. He's still slashing a decent .265/.377/.437 with seven home runs, 27 RBI, 29 runs scored and five doubles over 42 contests overall. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:28 pm
    • Notches 10th save Monday
Foley pitched a clean ninth inning with two strikeouts to record the save in Monday's 6-5 win over the Marlins.

Advice: Foley has emerged in a crowded bullpen as the preferred closing option, and he's looked good so far, converting 10 out of 11 save chances and posting a solid 2.20 ERA. The righty came into the season with just seven career saves at the MLB level, and it's no guarantee he holds onto the job all year with other capable candidates on the roster. However, Foley is the top Detroit reliever to target for the moment, and he should deliver good fantasy value if he keeps pitching like this. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:12 pm

    • Jason Foley fans two on Monday for 10th save
Jason Foley tossed a perfect ninth inning on Monday against the Marlins to collect his 10th save of the season.

Advice: Foley got the call to protect a one-run margin in the final frame and required just 15 pitches (nine strikes) to end it. He struck out Tristan Gray and Jazz Chisholm Jr. to kick things off before getting Bryan De La Cruz to ground out to end the contest. He’s converted 10 of 11 save chances to go along with a 2.20 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 15/6 K/BB ratio across 16 1/3 innings (18 appearances). Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:50 pm

    • Throws Monday, but far off return
Bradford (ribs) played catch Monday, Jeff Wilson of RangersToday.com reports.

Advice: According to MLB.com, manager Bruce Bochy said Friday that Bradford could be cleared to begin throwing off a mound at some point later on this week during the Rangers' six-game homestand. Bradford was originally placed on the 15-day injured list April 14 with lower-back soreness, but follow-up tests revealed that the southpaw had a "very small" stress fracture on the 12th rib on the right side of his body. Bochy said that the Rangers are expecting Bradford to be sidelined for another month, which would put him in line for a return around the middle of June. Bradford went 3-0 with a 1.40 ERA in three starts prior to landing on the IL, but the Rangers may not have a rotation spot available for him once he's healthy. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:06 pm

    • Back on bench Monday
Joe is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Brewers.

Advice: Joe isn't quite an everyday player for the Pirates, but he's been one of the more productive hitters in a struggling lineup this season and is gradually starting to earn steadier playing time versus right-handed pitching. He'll take a seat against Brewers righty Colin Rea in the series opener in Milwaukee, however, as the Pirates trot out a starting outfield of Bryan Reynolds, Michael Taylor and Jack Suwinski from left to right. Meanwhile, Rowdy Tellez will draw the start at first base and Andrew McCutchen will serve as Pittsburgh's designated hitter. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:16 pm

    • Returns to lineup Monday
Nimmo (intercostal) will start in left field and bat leadoff in Monday's game versus the Phillies, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Nimmo didn't start Sunday's 4-3 win over Atlanta due to right intercostal irritation, but he entered the contest off the bench and eventually clubbed a walk-off, two-run home run in his lone plate appearance. Four of Nimmo's six home runs this season have come over his last 12 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:55 am

    • Connor Wong hitting third for Red Sox on Monday
Connor Wong is starting behind the plate and batting third for the Red Sox on Monday against the Rays.

Advice: Wong has hit as high as second this season but only against left-handed pitching, so having him hit third with Rafael Devers and Tyler O’Neill both in the lineup is surprising. The Red Sox are clearly looking to spark some offense, and Wong is hitting .364/.417/.500 in six games in May with just a 21% strikeout rate, so Boston is looking to see if his hot bat can spark their offense. Fantasy managers who lost Willson Contreras can certainly look to Wong to fill the gap with him swinging the bat this well. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:38 am

    • Continues hot stretch
Diaz went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, a walk and two runs scored Sunday against the Yankees.

Advice: Diaz launched his second homer in as many games and his third of the season. He has turned his results around in May, as he's maintained a .333 average with eight RBI and eight runs scored across 10 games. Diaz remains locked in as the Rays' leadoff hitter and should be a strong source of batting average and runs scored moving forward. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:41 am

    • Slams door for save
Helsley struck out two batters in a perfect inning and earned a save over Milwaukee on Sunday.

Advice: Helsley needed only 12 pitches (10 strikes) to quickly close out the 4-3 victory. Since blowing a save in his season debut, he's converted 12 consecutive chances. During that stretch, Helsley has given up just one earned run over 18 frames, lowering his season ERA to 1.42 alongside a 21:2 K:BB. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:51 pm
