    • Suffers hand injury in win
Yoshida exited Sunday's 6-5 win over the Cubs in the sixth inning due to a left hand injury, Jen McCaffrey of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Yoshida jammed his left hand on a groundout in his first at-bat in the bottom of the first inning, ultimately leaving the game after the top of the sixth inning. Considering the outfielder was able remain in the game as long as he did and even record a hit in his second at-bat, it's possible that the injury is minor. The team will determine if he needs x-rays during Monday's off day and he can be considered day-to-day for the time being. Rotowire.com 58 minutes ago

    • Nolan Jones leaves game with stiff back on Sunday
Nolan Jones was removed from Sunday’s game against the Astros due to stiffness in his back.

Advice: The 25-year-old outfielder has been battling the back issue for a while now and is very frustrated with his latest flareup on Sunday. Rockies’ skipper Bud Black told reporters on Sunday that they’ll determine over the next couple of days whether or not he’ll require a trip to the injured list. Fantasy managers who are relying on Jones for next week should be sure to have an alternative option in place. Rotoworld Today, 6:25 pm

    • Sits versus southpaw
Kepler is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.

Advice: Kepler is 8-for-19 with two doubles, a home run, seven RBI and four runs in six games since he returned from a bruised right knee Monday, but he'll take a seat Sunday with lefty Reid Detmers pitching for the Halos. Manuel Margot will man right field and bat third in the series finale at Los Angeles. Rotowire.com Today, 11:26 am

    • Launches first homer
Kepler went 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBI, two runs scored and a walk in Saturday's win over the Angels.

Advice: Kepler drew a bases-loaded walk in the first inning to send home the Twins' first run of the game and added a leadoff single in his next at-bat before coming around to score on a Carlos Santana double. The outfielder then launched his first homer of the season in the sixth to increase Minnesota's lead, giving him just his third multi-hit performance of the campaign. However, all three of those performances have come over his last six games, raising his batting average from .125 to .231 over that stretch. Rotowire.com Today, 6:18 am

    • Looks mortal versus Phillies
Cease (3-2) took the loss against Philadelphia on Saturday, allowing five runs on six hits and three walks while striking out five batters over six innings.

Advice: Prior to Saturday, Cease hadn't given up more than two earned runs in any of his five starts and had pitched to a 1.82 ERA. That number ballooned to 2.78 after the outing against Philadelphia, with Alec Bohm accounting for four RBI against the right-hander. Despite the hiccup, Cease has been the Padres' most effective starter this season, and he'll look to bounce back into form in his next appearance, which projects to come on the road in Arizona. • Swipes home in win
Kwan went 2-for-5 with two runs and a stolen base Saturday in an extra-inning victory versus Atlanta.

Advice: Kwan's speed was on display throughout the contest, as neither of his base knocks left the infield and he crossed the plate on a steal of home in the eighth inning. The third-year outfielder had had an impressive beginning to the campaign, notching at least one hit in 17 of his 26 contests. He's slashing .345/.378/.469 with three homers, eight RBI, 25 runs and three thefts through 119 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:13 pm

    • Tosses seven scoreless frames
Morton allowed four hits and one walk while striking out six batters over seven scoreless innings in a no-decision against Cleveland on Saturday.

Advice: Morton and Cleveland starter Tanner Bibee both hurled seven scoreless frames in the contest, subjecting both pitchers to a no-decision despite their impressive individual efforts. Morton notched his second straight quality start, and he appears to be coming back around after allowing 10 runs over 11.1 frames across a pair of outings April 8 and April 14. The veteran right-hander continues rolling along as an effective rotation piece in his 17th MLB season -- through five starts, he's posting a 3.60 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 28:11 K:BB over 30 innings. • Surrenders six runs Saturday
Civale allowed six runs on eight hits and no walks while striking out three batters over 4.1 innings in a no-decision against the White Sox on Saturday.

Advice: Civale made it through three scoreless frames before serving up an Andrew Benintendi three-run homer in the fourth. The right-hander returned for the fifth frame but gave up three straight hits for another run before departing with one out, and both runners he left on base later came around to score. Civale began the campaign with three quality starts among his first four appearances, but he's fallen off since then, yielding 11 runs across nine innings over his subsequent two starts. He'll try to get back on track in his next start, which is tentatively lined up to be a home outing against the Mets next week. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:23 pm
    • Dylan Cease walks three, allows five in loss
Dylan Cease gave up five runs in six innings of work while picking up a loss Saturday against the Phillies.

Advice: Cease was going to have to be at his best to match Ranger Suárez, and unfortunately he wasn’t close. The right-hander did whiff five, but he gave up six hits that included a two-run homer from Alec Bohm. In his first season with the Padres, Cease has posted a very solid 2.78 ERA despite this not-so-effective outing. A chance to lower that figure comes Friday in Arizona. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:22 pm
