      Guerrero went 2-for-4 with a walk and a grand slam during Sunday's 11-8 loss to the Nationals.

      Advice: Guerrero's grand slam in the second inning off MacKenzie Gore was his fourth of the season and first in 22 games. It was also the first time he homered this season with men on base as he had collected just 11 RBI and hit just .231 coming into the contest. Despite the power outage, Guerrero is currently in the midst of an eight-game hitting streak, batting 11-for-32 (.344) with three doubles, a homer, five RBI and three runs scored during that stretch.       Devers went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run and two runs scored in Sunday's 9-2 win over the Twins.

      Advice: After opening the game 0-for-3, Devers singled and later came around to score in the top of the eighth inning before launching a two-run home run off Jay Jackson in the following frame. The long ball was his fourth of the season and his first in 10 games.       Advice: Bednar allowed a two-out double but otherwise looked sharp for the second consecutive day as he earned his sixth save Sunday, dropping his ERA to 9.69 and WHIP to 1.46 in the process. Despite the scoreless effort, the Pirates' stopper has allowed at least one run in seven of his 15 appearances this season. Pirate fans and fantasy managers alike hope these last two performances against the listless Rockies will serve as a momentum boost for Bednar, who entered the season as one of the top closers in baseball.       David Bednar tossed a scoreless ninth for his sixth save Sunday against the Rockies.

      The Padres placed Musgrove on the 15-day injured list Sunday with right elbow inflammation.

      Advice: Musgrove was expected to start Tuesday against the Cubs but will now be sidelined for at least the next couple weeks. It's unclear when the injury surfaced for the right-hander, who struck out nine and allowed two runs over six innings his last time out versus the Cubs. According to Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune, there's hope Musgrove will be able to return from the injured list when first eligible May 17 in Atlanta.       Padres placed RHP Joe Musgrove on the 15-day injured list with right triceps tendinitis.

      Advice: Musgrove was excellent in his start Wednesday against the Red with nine strikeouts and two runs allowed over six innings, but it appears not everything went well in that outing. Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports that the move is “precautionary,” so it’s possible he will only miss a couple of starts before rejoining San Diego’s rotation.
