    • Notches fourth steal
Rojas went 2-for-5 with a stolen base in Friday's 8-1 win over the Athletics.

Advice: Rojas has five multi-hit efforts over eight games in May, going 13-for-31 (.419) with two steals and two extra-base hits in that span. The light-hitting 29-year-old is playing well atop the Mariners' lineup versus right-handed pitchers while splitting time between third base and left field. Friday's effort has him at a .351/.417/.526 slash line with three home runs, four steals, eight RBI and 12 runs scored over 108 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:54 pm

    • Two more hits, stolen base for Rojas against A’s
Josh Rojas picked up two hits and stole a base in a blowout win Friday against the Athletics.

Advice: The steal is the fourth of the season for the 29-year-old. The pair of hits now has him hitting .351, and while this isn’t sustainable, it’s hard to do anything but applaud the production. The question now will be where Rojas hits in the lineup when J.P. Crawford (oblique) comes off the injured list. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:28 pm

    • Luis Arraez hits walk-off single against Dodgers
Luis Arraez hit a walk-off RBI single to give the Padres a 2-1 win over the Dodgers on Friday.

Advice: With the score tied 1-1, Arraez picked up his first game-winning hit as a member of the Padres with a single to score Tyler Wade off Michael Grove. The 27-year-old has just seven RBI in his time with the Marlins and San Diego, but he should have more chances to drive in runs — even at the top of the lineup — now that he’s not playing for one of the worst teams in baseball. • Punches out 11
Crochet (3-4) yielded five hits over six shutout frames Friday, striking out 11 and earning a win over the Guardians.

Advice: Crochet carved through Cleveland's lineup with ease Friday, setting new career bests with 11 strikeouts and 21 whiffs. He seems to be fully back on track after struggling during the middle of April. He gave up 17 runs over an ugly three-start stretch but has allowed just three runs while registering a 24:1 K:BB over his last three outings. Crochet lowered his season ERA to 4.63 with an outstanding 64:9 K:BB through 46.2 frames. He's currently in line for a home matchup with the Nationals next week. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:39 pm
    • Cole Irvin downs Diamondbacks, improves to 4-1
Cole Irvin threw 5 2/3 innings and allowed two runs Friday in the Orioles’ 4-2 victory over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Irvin got the win and moved to 4-1 with a 2.90 ERA. He wasn’t supposed to still be in the Orioles rotation with Kyle Bradish and John Means back, but the Grayson Rodriguez and Tyler Wells injuries changed things, and Irvin is making a case to stick after Rodriguez returns. The Orioles might go to a six-man rotation for a time in order to lighten the load. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:32 pm

    • Finally snaps slump
Olson went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Friday's win over the Mets.

Advice: Olson hit Atlanta's third and final homer during the third inning and it proved to be the game-winning blast. It was his first long ball since April 7, snapping an uncharacteristic 26-game skid. During that extended drought, he posted a .508 OPS with 30 strikeouts. On the year, Olson is now slashing .202/.311/.372 with 13 extra-base hits and 18 RBI through 35 contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:55 pm

    • Francisco Lindor hits home run in loss
Francisco Lindor hit a late homer off Charlie Morton in a loss to the Braves.

Advice: The Mets’ offense was quiet all night as Morton held them to just three hits, the loudest being Lindor’s solo shot. He’s done well to put his slow start behind him with six homers over the last three weeks. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:49 pm

    • Joe Ryan keeps Blue Jays quiet in victory
Joe Ryan pitched seven innings of one-run ball Friday in the Twins’ 3-2 defeat of the Blue Jays.

Advice: The lone run was a 365-foot homer from Isiah Kiner-Falefa. The ball barely rated as hard hit, leaving his bat at 95.5 mph, and was a homer in only 11 ballparks. It’s Ryan’s fourth straight quality start, and he still hasn’t allowed more than three earned runs in a game this season. Alas, the win tonight was only his second. Ryan will face the Yankees next. • Jhoan Duran gets hold against Blue Jays
Jhoan Duran pitched a hitless eighth against the Blue Jays for his third hold Friday.

Advice: Everything seemed great when Duran notched saves in his first two appearances back from the IL, but he’s been asked to pitch the eighth in three of four outings since. It’s strictly a leverage thing, but it’s annoying for us fantasy leaguers. Duran has been practically perfect since being activated, allowing a total of two hits in six scoreless innings.
