    • Adds another steal
Ramirez went 1-for-4 with one RBI, a walk, a stolen base and one run scored in Saturday's 4-2 extra-innings win over Atlanta.

Advice: Ramirez didn't run much early in the campaign, but he's gotten back to it with all four of his steals this year coming over the last eight games. He's gone 9-for-32 (.281) in that span while adding nine RBI and four extra-base hits. Overall, the star third baseman is doing fine with a .259/.276/.455 slash line, five home runs, 24 RBI and 19 runs scored over 116 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 12:05 am

    • José Ramírez drives in four in win over Red Sox
José Ramírez went 3-for-4 with a home run, four RBI, and a steal in a win over the Red Sox on Thursday.

Advice: Ramirez crushed a second-inning pitch from Chase Anderson 384 feet at 107.8 mph off the bat for his fifth home run of the season. He’s now slashing .260/.271/.471 on the season with 23 RBI and three steals. Ramirez has been hyper-aggressive this season, raising his chase rate and his overall swing rate by 10 percent. As a result, he has just a two percent walk rate and is making less hard contact than he did last year. He still makes an elite amount of contact, but you do have to wonder if the increased aggression will make it harder for him to reach that .280-.300 batting average that we’re used to seeing. • Powers Cleveland to win
Ramirez went 3-for-4 with a grand slam, a stolen base and an additional run scored in Thursday's 6-4 win over the Red Sox.

Advice: Ramirez extended the Guardians' lead to 5-0 in the second inning, blasting a two-out grand slam on the 10th pitch of the at-bat from Chase Anderson. While it had been a slow start to the year by Ramirez's standards, he now has six extra-base hits, including three home runs, and three stolen bases in his last 10 contests. The veteran third baseman is now slashing .260/.271/.471 with five home runs, 23 RBI and 18 runs scored across 107 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Thursday, 1:28 pm

    • Adds insurance with homer
Ramirez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Red Sox.

Advice: Ramirez's bat is coming around -- he's hit safely in seven of his last eight games, going 8-for-32 (.250) with two homers and nine RBI in that span. For the season, he's slashing .240/.253/.427 with four homers, 19 RBI, 16 runs scored, a stolen base, four doubles and a triple through 22 games. Ramirez remains firmly in the heart of the order and continues to be regularly involved in run production, even with his lackluster on-base numbers so far. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 8:41 pm

    • José Ramírez homers, Guardians roll past Red Sox
José Ramírez walloped a solo homer on Tuesday, powering the Guardians to a 4-1 victory over the Red Sox.

Advice: Ramírez doubled Cleveland’s lead with an eighth-inning solo shot off Red Sox reliever Cam Booser. It was his fourth round-tripper of the season. He’s started to heat up over the last few contests, recording at least one hit in seven of his last eight games since April 14, and also has a pair of big flies during that span. • Records third steal
Chapman went 1-for-4 with two RBI and a stolen base in Monday's 5-2 win over the Mets.

Advice: Chapman is up to three steals this year, two of which have come over the last three contests. The third baseman has gone 8-for-24 (.333) with four RBI and six extra-base hits over his last seven contests. He's slashing .226/.280/.430 with four home runs, 14 RBI, 13 runs scored and seven doubles through 100 plate appearances, but his recent performances suggest he's trending in the right direction. • Swipes bag off bench
Chapman went 2-for-2 with a stolen base in Saturday's 7-3 win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Chapman came off the bench in this contest, but he was still able to earn his fourth multi-hit effort over his last 10 games. The third baseman is slashing .224/.283/.424 with four home runs, two steals, 12 RBI, 12 runs scored and five doubles over 92 plate appearances. Saturday's partial off-day looks to just be standard rest for the veteran rather than a response to his lackluster hitting to begin the campaign. Rotowire.com Sunday, 10:06 am

    • Receives first rest day
Ramirez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game versus the Athletics.

Advice: Ramirez started the first 21 games of the season but will sit for Sunday's series finale versus Oakland, which will give him two straight days since Cleveland has a scheduled day off Monday. The five-time All-Star is off to a slow start in 2024 with a .239/.253/.402 slash line in 95 plate appearances, though he's still tied for fifth in the AL in RBI (18) and tied for sixth in runs (15). • José Ramírez out of lineup Sunday against A’s
José Ramírez is not in the lineup for Sunday’s game against the Athletics.

Advice: J-Ram will get a day off Sunday for the series finale. The Guardians will have Gabriel Arias handle third base duties and hit eighth against Oakland in his absence. Ramirez should be back in the lineup Tuesday against the Red Sox. Rotoworld Sunday, 7:44 am
