    • Bryson Stott homers twice in win over Padres
Bryson Stott crushed a pair of two-run homers on Sunday, powering the Phillies to an 8-6 victory over the Padres.

Advice: Stott opened the scoring in the ballgame with a 395-foot (105.7 mph EV) two-run shot off of Michael King in the second inning. He replicated that feat in the fourth inning — this time a 396-foot (103.9 mph EV) two-run shot off of King that gave the Phillies a 4-3 lead. He also grounded into a fielder’s choice in the eighth inning, swiped second base and scored on an RBI double off the bat of Johan Rojas. With the monster day at the dish, the 26-year-old second baseman is now hitting .226/.295/.369 with three homers, 14 RBI and four stolen bases in what has otherwise been a disappointing season. • Receives breather Sunday
Raleigh is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Raleigh started the past three days after missing one contest due to dental procedure, and he'll sit Sunday with it being a day game after a night game. Seby Zavala is starting behind the plate to catch for righty Logan Gilbert. Rotowire.com Today, 11:34 am

    • Secures fourth save
Munoz earned the save over the Diamondbacks on Saturday, pitching a perfect ninth inning while striking out one.

Advice: Munoz entered the game with a two-run lead in the ninth and went 1-2-3 through the heart of Arizona's lineup to secure his fourth save of the season. The right-handed reliever has now converted his last two save attempts after being tagged with the loss in extras against the Rockies a week ago and has not allowed a baserunner over that brief stretch. • Career-high 12 strikeouts
Kirby (3-2) earned the win over the Diamondbacks on Saturday, hurling seven shutout innings while allowing two hits and two walks. He struck out 12.

Advice: Kirby wasn't playing around Saturday, fanning six of the first eight batters he faced en route to recording a career-high 12 strikeouts on the night. The right-hander has now hurled 12 shutout innings over his last two starts, and Saturday also marked the second time this season in which he's allowed only two hits. Kirby carries a 30:2 K:BB over five starts this month and has won his last two decisions. Rotowire.com Today, 7:01 am

    • Andrés Muñoz quiets D-backs to earn fourth save
Andrés Muñoz tossed a perfect ninth inning on Saturday against the Diamondbacks to record his fourth save of the season.

Advice: Muñoz got the call to protect a two-run lead in the final frame and needed just 11 pitches (eight strikes) to retire the side in order. The 25-year-old flamethrower has converted four of five save chances this season to accompany a solid 2.61 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 13/6 K/BB ratio across 10 1/3 innings (11 appearances). • George Kirby strikes out career-high 12 vs. D-backs
George Kirby recorded a career-high 12 strikeouts over seven shutout innings on Saturday in a win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Kirby authored arguably the most dominant performance of his career in this one, generating an eye-popping 23 swinging strikes -- including a staggering 18 whiffs on his four-seam fastball alone -- and finished with an elite 39 percent CSW. His fastball velocity was up 1.2 mph in this one from earlier this year to 96.4 mph and he gave up only three batted balls with an exit velocity over 91 mph over seven nearly-flawless frames. The 26-year-old righty has clearly shaken off a couple rough outings to open the year and has allowed just two runs over 18 innings in his last three starts since April 15. He’ll carry a respectable 4.18 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 38/4 K/BB ratio across 32 2/3 innings (six starts) into a challenging road tilt on Friday against the division-rival Astros. • Adds another steal
Ramirez went 1-for-4 with one RBI, a walk, a stolen base and one run scored in Saturday's 4-2 extra-innings win over Atlanta.

Advice: Ramirez didn't run much early in the campaign, but he's gotten back to it with all four of his steals this year coming over the last eight games. He's gone 9-for-32 (.281) in that span while adding nine RBI and four extra-base hits. Overall, the star third baseman is doing fine with a .259/.276/.455 slash line, five home runs, 24 RBI and 19 runs scored over 116 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 12:05 am

    • Tosses seven scoreless frames
Morton allowed four hits and one walk while striking out six batters over seven scoreless innings in a no-decision against Cleveland on Saturday.

Advice: Morton and Cleveland starter Tanner Bibee both hurled seven scoreless frames in the contest, subjecting both pitchers to a no-decision despite their impressive individual efforts. Morton notched his second straight quality start, and he appears to be coming back around after allowing 10 runs over 11.1 frames across a pair of outings April 8 and April 14. The veteran right-hander continues rolling along as an effective rotation piece in his 17th MLB season -- through five starts, he's posting a 3.60 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 28:11 K:BB over 30 innings. • Charlie Morton gets hard-luck no-decision vs. CLE
Charlie Morton didn’t allow a run in seven innings of work with eight strikeouts, but still didn’t qualify for a decision during his start Saturday against the Guardians.

Advice: He allowed four hits with one walk. Morton was outstanding, but unfortunately, Tanner Bibee was just as good and blanked the Atlanta lineup while both were in the game. Morton has looked much better over his last two starts, as he’s allowed just two runs — both last Saturday against the Rangers — while striking out a dozen over 13 innings of work. The 40-year-old hurler will take a 3.60 ERA into his start against the Dodgers on Friday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:18 pm
