    • Goes deep in victory
Arenado went 1-for-5 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Monday's 10-5 victory versus the Angels.

Advice: The Cardinals were shut out over six innings before Arenado ignited an eight-run seventh with an inning-opening solo shot to left field. The long ball was just his third of the season and marked only his second extra-base hit over his past seven games. Aside from the lack of power, Arenado hasn't been far off his usual level of production, slashing .268/.327/.386 with 21 RBI and 15 runs through 40 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:04 pm

    • Teoscar Hernández goes 0-for-5 against Giants
Teoscar Hernández finished 0-for-5 with three strikeouts against the Giants on Monday.

Advice: Hernández is having a terrific fantasy campaign with his 11 homers and 33 RBI in 43 games, but the .244 average, .307 OBP and 30.6% strikeout rate aren’t exactly encouraging. It’s a good thing he plays for the Dodgers, because Statcast thinks he’d have fewer homers hitting anywhere else and he also probably wouldn’t be batting with as many runners on base. • Nolan Arenado hits solo shot in win over Angels
Nolan Arenado hit a solo homer Monday in a victory over the Angels.

Advice: The Cardinals trailed 4-0 entering the seventh inning. Arenado got St. Louis on the board with a solo shot in that frame. Nine more runs would score for the Cardinals. The Angels might not be very good. Arenado now has three homers and 21 RBI at the quarter mark. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:33 pm

    • Blasts 10th homer
O'Neill went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run and a walk during Monday's loss to the Rays.

Advice: O'Neill's first-inning three-run blast provided all the scoring for the Red Sox on Monday. It was the first homer since April 27 for the slumping O'Neill, who hit .333 with nine homers over his first 19 games, but had gone just 7-for-44 (.159) with six walks and 22 strikeouts over the most recent 12 game homer-less stretch prior to Monday. • Scoreless in no-decision
Bibee allowed three hits and two walks over 5.1 scoreless innings in a no-decision Monday. He struck out four during the win over Texas.

Advice: Bibee failed to complete six innings for the third consecutive start, but this time it was simply due to a high pitch count. He was tagged with 10 runs in his previous two starts but bounced back with his second scoreless start of the year. Bibee retired the first 11 batters Monday before tailing off a bit near the end of his start, including leaving the game after loading the bases in the sixth inning. He lowered his ERA to 4.34 with a 48:15 K:BB through 45.2 innings. Bibee's next start is expected to be at home this weekend against the Twins. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:35 pm
    • Bibee gets no-decision Monday
Tanner Bibee threw 5 1/3 innings of shutout ball in a no-decision in the Guardians’ 7-0 victory over the Rangers on Monday.

Advice: Bibee allowed three hits, two walks and struck out four in the contest. Guardians manager Stephen Vogt removed Bibee from the game with the bases loaded in the sixth inning. Reliever Nick Sandlin escaped the jam without any runs scoring, preserving Bibee’s ERA. His ERA is 4.34 on the season. The 25-year-old right-hander is set to face the Twins at home this weekend. • Fans seven in win
Keller (4-3) allowed eight hits over six shutout frames Monday, striking out seven and earning a win over Milwaukee.

Advice: Keller faced traffic on the bases throughout the night but was able to dance around danger and keep the Brewers scoreless. He forced 13 whiffs -- his second-best total so far this season -- and threw 71 of 100 pitches for strikes. Of those 13, seven came via the fastball, which averaged 95.2 mph. Keller has seemingly turned a corner after a shaky opening month; he's allowed just one run while posting a 12:1 K:BB over 15 frames in his last two starts. Keller will carry a 3.93 ERA into his next start, which is lined up to be on the road against the Cubs this weekend. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:09 pm
    • Keller picks up fourth win Monday
Mitch Keller tossed six shutout innings, recorded seven strikeouts and picked up the win in the Pirates’ 8-6 victory over the Brewers on Monday.

Advice: The win was Keller’s fourth of the season. He allowed eight hits, but walked none in the outing. Keller lowered his ERA to 3.93 on the season. The 28-year-old right-hander is set to face the Cubs in Chicago this weekend.

    • Dealing with cut on throwing hand
Fairbanks was unavailable to pitch Monday night against the Red Sox due to a cut on his right index finger, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Advice: Manager Kevin Cash is hopeful Fairbanks will be available out of the bullpen for Tuesday's matchup. Jason Adam handled the closer duties Monday and could be called upon again Tuesday if Fairbanks can't go. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:31 pm
