    • Jhoan Duran (oblique) to make rehab outing Saturday
Jhoan Duran (oblique) is scheduled to pitch in a minor league rehab game at Triple-A St. Paul on Saturday, after Friday’s scheduled appearance was rained out.

Advice: As long as everything goes well with that outing, it sounds like the Twins’ closer could be cleared to make his 2024 season debut. Duran threw 27 pitches his last time out and should be expected to have a similar workload on Saturday. It sounds like Griffin Jax’s usefulness from a fantasy perspective could be coming to an end soon. Rotoworld Today, 4:04 pm

    • Not starting Friday
Estrada (hamstring) is not in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Pirates, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Advice: Estrada went 0-for-2 in Wednesday's game against the Mets before being pulled due to left hamstring tightness. The Giants had their off day Thursday, but the 28-year-old will sit out for at least one more game while managing his injury. Tyler Fitzgerald will start at second base Friday and bat eighth against Pirates right-hander Quinn Priester. Rotowire.com Today, 3:18 pm

    • Braves activate Ozzie Albies from 10-day IL
Braves activated 2B Ozzie Albies (toe) from the 10-day injured list.

Advice: Albies returns to the active roster following a stay on the injured list with a fractured right toe. It’s amazing that the 27-year-old needed just the minimum 10 days on the injured list before making his return with the injury he had. On top of that, he was doing fielding drills this past weekend to get ramped up for live action. He’ll be a boost for the Braves’ offense and for fantasy managers as he’s on pace for a career season with a .317/.386/.492 batting line in his first 15 games. Rotoworld Today, 6:37 am

    • Activated from injured list
Atlanta activated Albies (toe) from the 10-day injured list Friday.

Advice: Albies missed just the minimum 10 days with a fractured right big toe and will not require a rehab assignment before rejoining his teammates for a weekend series against the Guardians. The 27-year-old has put together a .317/.386/.492 slash line with two home runs and two stolen bases through his first 15 contests this season. Rotowire.com Today, 6:15 am

    • Goes yard, scores three times
Contreras went 2-for-4 with a solo homer, three runs scored and a stolen base while also drawing a walk in Thursday's win over the Pirates.

Advice: Contreras launched a solo homer off Mitch Keller in the top of the first inning to give Milwaukee an early lead and came around to score the team's third run on a Rhys Hoskins single in the third. He then added a single in the fifth frame before going on to steal his second base of the season. The catcher scored three runs in the contest, a mark he's hit three times already this season, while also recording multiple hits for the second consecutive game. Contreras is batting .373 (31-for-83) in April with five homers, 20 RBI and 21 runs scored. Rotowire.com Today, 4:01 am
    • Keeps rolling with another save
Miller notched a save against the Yankees on Thursday, pitching 1.1 scoreless innings during which he allowed one hit and struck out three batters.

Advice: Miller continues to flourish in the closer role -- he's a perfect six-for-six in save opportunities so far and hasn't given up a run since his first outing of the campaign. The right-hander's heater is also paying off with big strikeout numbers, as he's racked up an impressive 23 punchouts over 11.1 frames. Despite the fact that Miller plays for one of the league's worst teams, he's quickly evolving into one of fantasy's most desirable closers. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:58 pm

    • Mason Miller records four-out save vs. Yankees
Mason Miller recorded a four-out save on Thursday against the Yankees.

Advice: Miller might be the most electrifying pitcher in baseball at the moment. Athletics manager Mark Kotsay handed him the ball for a four-out save opportunity at Yankee Stadium and he immediately responded by striking out Jose Trevino on a 101 mph fastball to end the eighth inning. He came back out to protect a two-run lead in the final frame and recorded two additional strikeouts to successfully work around a one-out infield single from Anthony Volpe. The hard-throwing 25-year-old former top pitching prospect has converted all six of his save opportunities this season to go along with a microscopic 1.59 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 23/4 K/BB ratio across 11 1/3 innings (nine appearances). • Collects ninth steal
Caballero went 1-for-3 with a run scored, an RBI and a stolen base in Wednesday's 7-5 win over the Tigers.

Advice: The shortstop continues to make an impact on the basepaths. Caballero has gone 4-for-4 on steal attempts over the last six games, and on the season he sports a .272/.302/.432 slash line with two homers, nine stolen bases, 11 runs and 11 RBI in 23 contests. • Three more steals Wednesday
De La Cruz went 3-for-5 with a double, an RBI, a run scored and three stolen bases in Wednesday's 7-4 win over the Phillies.

Advice: It's already the second three-steal game for De La Cruz this season -- he's up to a league-leading 15 stolen bases on the campaign. The 22-year-old shortstop has been sensational through the first month of the year, batting .313 with a 1.063 OPS, seven home runs, 23 runs scored and 18 RBI through his first 24 games.
