    • Shaking off cold stretch
Bregman went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored Sunday against Colorado.

Advice: Bregman has an ugly .216 average in 108 plate appearances to start the season. He's shown small signs of turning things around at the plate, as he has at least one hit in three of his last four games. More concerning is that Bregman has just a .052 ISO to go along with two barrels in 81 batted ball events. Rotowire.com 35 minutes ago

    • Ryan McMahon clubs two-run homer in loss Saturday
Ryan McMahon went 1-for-2 and clubbed a two-run homer on Saturday night as the Rockies fell to the Astros in Mexico City.

Advice: McMahon got the Rockies on the board first in this one, clobbering a mammoth 459-foot (108.9 mph EV) two-run shot off of Ronel Blanco in the first inning. He also drew a walk and struck out in the contest, participating in only the three true outcomes. He’s off to a tremendous start to the 2024 season, slashing .310/.393/.480 with four homers and 16 RBI. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:13 pm

    • Royce Lewis (quad) to be re-evaluated this week
Twins general manager Derek Faley told reporters Royce Lewis (quad) will be re-evaluated later this week.

Advice: Lewis resumed baseball activities last week as he continues his recovery from a severe right quad strain that he suffered back on Opening Day. There should be a clearer timetable for his return following his latest evaluation. Rotoworld Tuesday, 4:12 pm

    • Struggling of late
McMahon went 0-for-3 with an RBI on Monday against the Padres.

Advice: McMahon recorded four hits April 12, but he has only five hits across 38 plate appearances since. He's also struck out at 39.5 percent clip in that span while tallying two RBI and two runs scored. Even with that stretch, McMahon has a .314 average across 100 plate appearances on the campaign. • Ryan McMahon delivers walk-off winner for Rockies
Ryan McMahon delivered a walk-off RBI single in the 10th inning on Sunday, propelling the Rockies to a 2-1 victory over the Mariners in the first game of their doubleheader.

Advice: The Rockies entered the 10th inning trailing 1-0, but three straight singles by Charlie Blackmon, Ezequiel Tovar and McMahon off of Mariners’ closer Andres Muñoz were enough to swing the tide in their direction and send the Rockies’ home faithful into a frenzy. McMahon finished the day 1-for-5 and is now hitting .333/.402/.469 with two homers and 12 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Sunday, 3:18 pm

Royce Lewis (quad) has resumed baseball activities.

Advice: Lewis figures to be ready to return to Minnesota’s lineup at some point later next month after suffering a severe right quad strain back on Opening Day. The 24-year-old third baseman is progressing well in his recovery and could resume running at some point next week. Rotoworld Saturday, 10:53 am

    • Resumes baseball activity
Lewis (quad) has resumed baseball activity and is aiming to begin a running progression next week, Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Lewis hit off a tee and stood in during a few bullpen sessions Saturday. Head trainer Nick Paparesta said he is pleased by the progress the 24-year-old infielder has made since straining his right quad on Opening Day, though he noted that Lewis still has a ways to go before the Twins can start thinking about a return.
