    • Homer, two hits in win
Ward went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Wednesday's win over St. Louis.

Advice: Ward jumped on a hanging four-seamer from Nick Robertson in the bottom of the seventh and sent it into the stands in left field for a leadoff home run, giving the outfielder his first long ball this month and his eighth overall on the season. Ward also recorded a single in the contest, marking his fourth multi-hit game in May, where he's now batting .261 with three RBI and six runs scored. Rotowire.com Today, 5:34 am

    • Cleared to start Sunday
Lopez (back) is slated to start Sunday's game against the Padres in Atlanta, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Advice: The right-hander dealt with back tightness in his most recent start Monday against the Cubs and was lifted after five scoreless innings, but he's apparently feeling better two days later. Assuming he's able to make it out of his between-starts bullpen session without incident, Lopez shouldn't face any major workload restrictions when he toes the rubber Sunday. After spending most of the last two seasons as a reliever, Lopez has exceeded expectations with his move to a starting role in his first year in Atlanta, going 2-1 with a 1.34 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 40:16 K:BB in 40.1 innings through his first seven outings. • Goes four innings vs. Toronto
Bradish did not factor into the decision Wednesday against the Blue Jays, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks over four innings. He struck out three.

Advice: Both runs against Bradish came on a Bo Bichette double in the third inning. The right-hander was pulled after throwing 85 pitches, as the Orioles continue to limit Bradish's pitch count after he missed the first month of the season with a strained UCL. The 27-year-old Bradish sports a 2.63 ERA with a 1.31 WHIP and 17:6 K:BB across his first three starts (13.2 innings) this season. He's currently lined up for a road matchup with the Cardinals early next week. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:51 pm

    • Goes through agility drills
Turner (hamstring) went through agility drills and fielded grounders at Citizens Bank Park on Wednesday, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Turner is less than two weeks removed from suffering a left hamstring strain, so it would seem to be a positive development that he's already working out on the field. Phillies manager Rob Thomson insisted Wednesday that "there is no timeline" for Turner's return, but it's possible the shortstop has a shot to beat the initial six-week recovery timetable he was projected for upon being placed on the 10-day injured list May 4. • Kyle Bradish lifted after four versus Blue Jays
Kyle Bradish was lifted after allowing two runs in four innings Wednesday versus the Blue Jays.

Advice: Bradish had a quick first, but everything afterwards was a slog; it took him 75 pitches to get his last nine outs after he needed just 10 to get the first three. Bradish still hasn’t pitched more than five innings in three starts since returning from an elbow injury, but he has a 2.63 ERA and the Orioles have prevailed in each of his outings. • Trea Turner (hamstring) takes ground balls
Trea Turner (hamstring) took ground balls and did some agility drills on the field on Wednesday without any issue.

Advice: Turner told reporters after landing on the injured list in early May that he would miss at least six weeks with his left hamstring strain. He appears to be making excellent progress in his recovery though, and I don’t think it would surprise anyone at this point if he beat that initial estimate. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:08 pm

    • Getting rest in series finale
Garcia is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the White Sox, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Advice: The White Sox are bringing southpaw Garrett Crochet to the hill for the series finale, so the Nationals will stock up on some extra right-handed bats. The lefty-hitting Garcia will hit the bench after he went 1-for-8 with a walk while starting at second base in both ends of Tuesday's doubleheader. Trey Lipscomb will fill in for Garcia at the keystone. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:23 am
    • Taking seat against southpaw
Rosario is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the White Sox, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Advice: With left-hander Garrett Crochet on the hill for Chicago, the lefty-hitting Rosario will hit the bench for the series finale. Rosario picked up starts in the corner outfield in both ends of Tuesday's doubleheader, going a collective 2-for-9 with a double, an RBI and a run scored. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:21 am

    • Plates three runs in win
Hernandez went 2-for-5 with a triple, a double, three RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 10-2 win over the Giants.

Advice: Hernandez got his night going with a run-scoring double in the fourth and then capped things off by driving in two more with a triple in the ninth. It was his first triple of the season and his third time with multiple extra-base hits. He's been providing some clutch hitting as of late with 10 RBI over his last six games and now sits at third in the majors with 36 RBI for the season. The 31-year-old is slashing .249/.310/.497 with 11 homers, 28 runs and a 14:56 BB:K in 184 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:18 am
