    • Luis Matos delivers game-winning for Giants
Luis Matos delivered a game-winning sac fly in the bottom of the 10th as the Giants bested the Phillies 1-0 on Tuesday.

Advice: Matos was 0-for-3 in the contest before his fly to left entered the game. It’s hard to say if the Giants will keep both he and Heliot Ramos after Michael Conforto comes off the IL, something that should happen this weekend. The Giants consider Matos the better option in center, but Ramos has been the more impressive hitter to date. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:39 pm

    • Bryson Stott goes hitless against Giants
Bryson Stott, who didn’t start Monday, went 0-for-4 in the loss to the Giants on Tuesday.

Advice: Stott has run extremely hot and cold this season, posting a .559 OPS over his first 25 games and a 1.242 OPS over his subsequent 18 games. Now he’s back in another drought, having gone 2-for-28 in his last eight games. The good news is that he’s struck out just three times during that span. He still projects as a useful MI in mixed leagues going forward. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:39 pm

    • Hunter Brown strikes out nine against Mariners
Hunter Brown limited the Mariners to one run over six innings and struck out nine in a no-decision Tuesday.

Advice: The result certainly wasn’t what Houston wanted, but Brown’s outing was awfully encouraging. Boasting maybe his best slider of the year, he got 14 missed swings and topped his previous season high for strikeouts by two. It’s his third quality start and just the second time he’s gone without allowing a walk. In truth, it was a strong enough showing to make him worth considering in mixed leagues in which he’s been dropped. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:01 pm
    • Alex Bregman homers from fifth spot in lineup
Alex Bregman went 2-for-4 and hit a homer that accounted for both Astros runs Tuesday in the loss to the Mariners.

Advice: Bregman had the nice game after switching places with Jeremy Peña and being dropped to the fifth spot in the lineup. Perhaps it means he’ll resume batting cleanup Wednesday, but the Astros truly have bigger concerns at the moment. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:00 pm

    • Davis Schneider swats two doubles, drives in three
Davis Schneider went 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBI in Tuesday’s win over the White Sox.

Advice: Schneider doubled to kick off the game, but his second double, which came in the second inning, drove in two runs to give the Blue Jays an early 3-0 lead. He would add another RBI in the sixth inning on a sacrifice fly to score George Springer, upping his RBI total to 28 on the season. Schneider is hitting a solid .255 on the year and is slashing .250/.368/.487 this month. While he’s not hitting for an overly high average, he’s offered decent power and an ability to drive in runs. • Records eighth save
Yates allowed a hit and a walk while striking out two over one scoreless inning to earn the save in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: This was Yates' first save since May 8, as opportunities have been few and far between for saves recently. He pitched four times between saves, allowing one run on two hits and three walks over three innings. The right-hander has eight saves, two holds, a 0.90 ERA, 0.90 WHIP and 25:10 K:BB over 20 innings this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:01 pm
    • Neris blows save, Cubs down Brewers in extras
Hector Neris blew his second save of the season in the Cubs’ win over the Brewers on Tuesday.

Advice: Neris entered the game with a 1-0 lead and recorded two outs to open the bottom of the ninth. He then ran into trouble when he walked Christian Yelich, only to later balk and move Yelich into scoring position. Willy Adames would later single with two strikes to drive in Yelich and for the game into extras. It’s just the second blown save of the season for Neris, who has managed to close things out when called upon despite a concerning 1.56 WHIP. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:01 pm
    • Kirby Yates earns eighth save vs. D-Backs
Kirby Yates earned his eighth save of the season in Tuesday’s win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Yates had to tightrope out of danger to earn the save in this one. The righty allowed a two-out walk to Eugenio Suárez only to see a single by Gabriel Moreno move Suárez into scoring position. Fortunately for Yates, a strikeout of Kevin Newman would end the game and secure the win for the Rangers, who have now won back-to-back games after dropping their previous six. • Merrill Kelly (shoulder) set to resume throwing
Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said Tuesday that Merrill Kelly (shoulder) will start a throwing program next week.

Advice: Kelly has been out since late April due to a right shoulder strain and is going to require several weeks of bullpen sessions and rehab starts before he’s an option for Arizona again. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:52 pm
