    • Cal Raleigh goes deep in blowout loss to A’s
Cal Raleigh slugged his 10th home run of the season on Saturday in the Mariners’ loss to the Athletics.

Advice: Raleigh went deep for the first time since walloping a pinch-hit grand slam earlier this week against the Twins, taking Athletics rookie Joey Estes deep to right-center field in the second inning. The 27-year-old switch-hitting backstop doesn’t offer much in the batting average department, but he’s hitting for a ton of over-the-fence pop right now. Rotoworld Today, 4:42 am

    • Stays hot
Cruz went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and two runs scored Saturday against the Cubs.

Advice: Cruz got off to a slow start to the season, though he's managed multiple hits in four of his last five starts. He's hit .500 in that span, also hitting two home runs while collecting six RBI and five runs scored. Importantly, Cruz has greatly cut down on his strikeout rate, as he's punched out multiple times in a game only three times in his last 17 starts and struck out at just a 23.8 percent clip in that span. • Launches homer in win
Henderson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in Saturday's 5-4 extra-innings win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Henderson regained a share of the major-league lead with his 12th homer of the campaign, putting him in a tie with Atlanta's Marcell Ozuna and Houston's Kyle Tucker. While he's hit two homers over the last three games, Henderson has just three multi-hit efforts in May, a month that's seen him go 8-for-34 (.235) over nine contests. It's little to be concerned about considering how well he's played overall -- he has a .278/.355/.583 slash line with 27 RBI, 30 runs scored and six stolen bases over 38 games. • Modest three-game hitting streak
Bregman went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored Saturday against the Tigers.

Advice: Bregman delivered an RBI single in the fourth inning to extend his hitting streak to three games. While that's not particularly notable, he's collected a hit in three straight starts only two other times this season, with the most recent stretch ending April 15. The end result is that Bregman has just a .201 batting average across 154 plate appearances on the campaign, though he has improved his production of late by tallying six RBI across his last 13 contests. • Picks up steal in win
Doyle went 1-for-2 with a double, two walks, a stolen base and one run scored in Saturday's 8-3 win over the Rangers.

Advice: Doyle opened May cold, going 2-for-23 over a six-game span, but he's bounced back by going 6-for-13 with two steals, four extra-base hits and three RBI over his last four contests. The outfielder is up to a .288/.336/.468 slash line with six steals, four home runs, 11 RBI and 24 runs scored through 152 plate appearances on the year. This was his first game with multiple walks all season. He has a 27.6 percent strikeout rate which has limited Doyle's effectiveness. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:48 pm
    • Wenceel Perez swipes base in win over Astros
Wenceel Perez doubled, walked, stole a base and scored a run as the Tigers triumphed over the Astros on Saturday evening in Motown.

Advice: Perez drew a walk off of Cristian Javier in the opening inning and swiped second base, but the Tigers couldn’t cash him in from there. He then smacked a double off of Javier in the second and rode home on the first of Kerry Carpenter’s home runs on the night. The 24-year-old outfielder finished the night 1-for-4 and is now hitting .282/.363/.493 with three homers, eight RBI and three stolen bases in his first 23 games of big league action. • Plates four runs
Stott went 2-for-5 with four RBI in Saturday's 8-3 victory over the Marlins.

Advice: Stott's bases-clearing triple in the sixth inning put the Phillies ahead for what turned out to be for good. He also added an RBI single in the eighth. It's the second four-RBI game for Stott over his last 10 contests, and he's batting .375 with a couple homers and 13 RBI over that span. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:34 pm
    • Aiming to play Monday or Tuesday
Schwarber (back) is hoping to return to the lineup Monday or Tuesday versus the Mets, Corey Seidman of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

Advice: Schwarber exited Friday's game and missed Saturday's contest with a sore back. It sounds like he'll sit out Sunday, as well, but he seems to be trending in the right direction. The Phillies are planning to give Bryce Harper at day at designated hitter Sunday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:59 pm
    • Kyle Schwarber (back) hoping to return on Monday
Kyle Schwarber (back) is hopeful to return to the Phillies’ starting lineup on Monday.

Advice: The 31-year-old slugger was lifted from Friday’s game due to soreness in his back and was held out on Saturday as a precautionary measure. It sounds like he’ll be sitting on Sunday as well. That will allow Bryce Harper to get a partial day off by serving as the team’s designated hitter. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:44 pm
