    • Sitting for series finale
Perez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Astros.

Advice: Perez will take a seat for the series finale after he had started in center field in each of the previous four games while going 4-for-17 with a double, a walk, a stolen base and two runs. Matt Vierling will replace Perez in center field. Rotowire.com Today, 9:36 am

    • Sitting in series finale
Cabrera is out of the lineup for Sunday's series finale against Tampa Bay.

Advice: Cabrera went 0-for-2 in Saturday's 7-2 loss to the Rays and is slashing just .200/.246/.262 over his last 20 games. He finds himself on the bench for the second time in three games and could be losing hold of his regular role at third base. Jon Berti will fill in for Cabrera once again Sunday. • Notches first big-league steal
Pages went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Saturday's 5-0 win against the Padres.

Advice: Pages withstood a Padres review challenge to pick up his first theft as a major-leaguer following an eighth-inning single. The 23-year-old hasn't been a big base-stealer as a pro, topping out at seven thefts in the minors, though he does have 83rd percentile sprint speed, per Statcast. Pages continues to see everyday playing time for the Dodgers, but he's tailed off a bit of late with a .158/.261/.158 slash line and 34.8 percent strikeout rate over his past six games. • Kyle Schwarber remains out Sunday with back issue
Kyle Schwarber (back) is out of the starting lineup for Sunday’s game against the Marlins.

Advice: Schwarber is out of the lineup as expected, with the hope being that the 31-year-old can return to the lineup Monday. Bryce Harper is the designated hitter against Miami with Whit Merrifield handling third base and leading off and Alec Bohm at first base. Rotoworld Today, 8:03 am

    • Picks up steal in win
Doyle went 1-for-2 with a double, two walks, a stolen base and one run scored in Saturday's 8-3 win over the Rangers.

Advice: Doyle opened May cold, going 2-for-23 over a six-game span, but he's bounced back by going 6-for-13 with two steals, four extra-base hits and three RBI over his last four contests. The outfielder is up to a .288/.336/.468 slash line with six steals, four home runs, 11 RBI and 24 runs scored through 152 plate appearances on the year. This was his first game with multiple walks all season. He has a 27.6 percent strikeout rate which has limited Doyle's effectiveness. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:48 pm

    • Wenceel Perez swipes base in win over Astros
Wenceel Perez doubled, walked, stole a base and scored a run as the Tigers triumphed over the Astros on Saturday evening in Motown.

Advice: Perez drew a walk off of Cristian Javier in the opening inning and swiped second base, but the Tigers couldn’t cash him in from there. He then smacked a double off of Javier in the second and rode home on the first of Kerry Carpenter’s home runs on the night. The 24-year-old outfielder finished the night 1-for-4 and is now hitting .282/.363/.493 with three homers, eight RBI and three stolen bases in his first 23 games of big league action. • Aiming to play Monday or Tuesday
Schwarber (back) is hoping to return to the Philadelphia lineup Monday or Tuesday versus the Mets, Corey Seidman of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

Advice: Schwarber exited Friday's 8-2 win over the Marlins and missed Saturday's 8-3 win with a sore back. He'll remain on the bench for Sunday's series finale, but he seems to be trending in the right direction. The Phillies are planning to give Bryce Harper at day at designated hitter Sunday. • Kyle Schwarber (back) hoping to return on Monday
Kyle Schwarber (back) is hopeful to return to the Phillies’ starting lineup on Monday.

Advice: The 31-year-old slugger was lifted from Friday’s game due to soreness in his back and was held out on Saturday as a precautionary measure. It sounds like he’ll be sitting on Sunday as well. That will allow Bryce Harper to get a partial day off by serving as the team’s designated hitter. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:44 pm

    • Sitting Saturday, as expected
Schwarber (back) will sit for Saturday's game against the Marlins, as expected.

Advice: He left Friday's game in the ninth inning with a sore back and told reporters he'd probably take Saturday off, which is indeed the case. Cristian Pache draws the start in left field with Whit Merrifield starting at third base and Alec Bohm getting the nod at designated hitter. Schwarber's back was still a bit tight Saturday, per manager Rob Thompson, and they're taking it day by day, Alex Coffey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:30 am
