    • Stays hot in win
Ramos went 3-for-5 with one RBI in Friday's 5-2 win over the Rangers.

Advice: Ramos logged multiple hits for the fourth time in the last five games. This was also his this time leading off in that span, and the first time he's been atop the order against a right-handed pitcher (Michael Lorenzen). Ramos is slashing .320/.416/.515 with five home runs, 20 RBI, 12 runs scored and one stolen base over 27 contests. As long as he's swinging a hot bat, it makes sense to have him at leadoff, especially since he's displayed improved plate discipline with a 13.2 percent walk rate this year. • Blanks Twins for eighth win
Keller (8-3) earned the win Friday over Minnesota, allowing seven hits and two walks over six scoreless innings. He struck out eight.

Advice: It's the sixth straight win for Keller -- he hasn't allowed more than two earned runs in that span, pitching to a 1.13 ERA. The 28-year-old right-hander lowered his ERA to 3.16 on the season with a 1.24 WHIP and 74:22 K:BB across 13 starts (79.2 innings). Keller will look to keep rolling in his next outing, currently scheduled for next week in St. Louis. Rotowire.com 53 minutes ago
    • Not slowed by brief absence
Bregman went 2-for-4 with a walk and a run scored Friday against the Angels.

Advice: Bregman returned to the lineup after a one-contest absence caused by a hand injury. He extended his hitting streak to nine games in his return Friday, and he's gone 14-for-35 with five homers, eight RBI and 10 runs scored in that span. Rotowire.com Today, 10:48 pm

    • Picks up win
Scott (5-4) struck out two batters over 1.2 perfect frames and earned a win over the Guardians on Friday.

Advice: Scott entered a tie game in the eighth inning and forced a double play to escape the first-and-third jam he inherited. He then struck out two in the ninth inning before Miami walked it off in the bottom of the frame. After some early season struggles, Scott has now gone 18 straight innings without allowing an earned run. His season ERA has fallen to 1.40 with a 27:19 K:BB through 25.2 innings. • Tanner Scott notches fifth win for Marlins
Tanner Scott pitched 1 2/3 scoreless innings and notched a win in relief Friday against the Guardians.

Advice: Scott came into a tie game in the eighth and stayed in to finish after the Marlins took a one-run lead. It’s his fifth win of the year, all coming since Apr. 30. Even though he’s very much Miami’s closer, he has just three saves during that same five-week span. Rotoworld Today, 7:13 pm

    • Justin Steele remains winless after quality start
Justin Steele dropped to 0-3 after allowing three runs in seven innings Friday against the Reds.

Advice: Two of the runs scored in the fourth after Steele had Elly De La Cruz picked off first base, only for Cruz to reach second because of errant throw from Michael Busch. If that had turned into an out, Steele might have wound up allowing just one run tonight. He’ll face the Rays next. Rotoworld Today, 6:43 pm

    • Cruz blasts ninth home run on Friday
Oneil Cruz went 1-for-2 with a walk and a solo home run against the Twins on Friday.

Advice: The home run was Cruz’ ninth of the season and second in as many days. Prior to Thursday, he had gone 15 games without a home run and was hitting .180 in that stretch. He’s hitting .247 with a .744 OPS and 24 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Today, 6:15 pm

    • Keller stellar again, picks up eighth win Friday
Mitch Keller threw six shutout innings and got the win in the Pirates’ 3-0 victory over the Twins on Friday.

Advice: Keller gave up seven hits, walked two and struck out eight. The win was his eighth of the season. Keller has now won six starts in a row and all of them have been quality starts. His ERA is 1.13 over his last six starts with a .226 average allowed. Keller now has a 3.16 ERA and SO:BB of 74:22 in 13 starts this year. The 28-year-old right-hander is set to face the Cardinals on the road next week.

    • Back in lineup Friday
Bregman (hand) is starting at third base and batting second in Friday's series opener against the Angels, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Advice: Bregman injured his left hand against the Cardinals on Tuesday after being hit by a pitch in the first inning. X-rays came back negative, though the Astros opted to scratch Bregman from Wednesday's lineup to give the 30-year-old additional rest. Over his last 10 games, Bregman has gone 14-for-39 with five home runs and eight RBI. Rotowire.com Today, 3:49 pm
