    • Remains perfect in save conversions
Yates earned a save against the Mets on Wednesday, striking out one batter in a perfect ninth inning.

Advice: Yates protected a two-run Texas lead in the top of the ninth frame, retiring the side in order on 16 pitches. The veteran reliever is a perfect 11-for-11 in save chances this season -- no closer in baseball has converted more saves without blowing any opportunities. Yates hasn't given up more than one run in any of his 26 appearances, leading to a superb 1.03 ERA. Rotowire.com 8 minutes ago
    • Swats solo shot in victory
Paredes went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Wednesday's 3-2 extra-inning win against Minnesota.

Advice: Paredes supplied the only run off Twins starter Joe Ryan with his third-inning solo shot to left field. The long ball was his first of June and just his second over his past 25 contests. Paredes has slowed down in the power department after a fast start to the season, but he's still the Rays' leader with 11 home runs overall. Rotowire.com 27 minutes ago

    • Brenton Doyle brings home winning run vs. Dodgers
Brenton Doyle went 0-for-3 with two RBI against the Dodgers on Wednesday.

Advice: Doyle went hitless on Wednesday, but still had two of the Rockies’ biggest at-bats. He brought in the tying run in the seventh inning with a sacrifice fly. With the game still tied in the bottom of the ninth, he brought the winning run in to score with his second sacrifice fly. The 26-year-old outfielder is hitting a solid .271/.337/.402 with six homers, 43 runs scored, 23 RBI, and 18 steals across 283 plate appearances. Rotoworld Today, 8:24 pm

    • Isaac Paredes leaves the yard in victory over Twins
Isaac Paredes slugged his 11th home run of the season on Wednesday night, helping to power the Twins past the Rays in extra innings.

Advice: Paredes opened the scoring in the contest with a 359-foot (95.5 mph EV) solo shot off of Joe Ryan that was pulled down the left field line. The 25-year-old slugger also singled and walked in the contest, finishing the night 2-for-3. On the season, he’s slashing a healthy .286/.368/.475 with the aforementioned 11 long balls and 39 RBI. • Kirby Yates secures 11th save
Kirby Yates pitched a clean ninth inning with a strike out in a win over the Mets on Wednesday.

Advice: Yates worked a pain-free ninth after struggling on Tuesday against this same Mets lineup in a tie game. He’s been one of the best closers in the league since earning the role in April with a sterling 1.03 ERA and 0.91 WHIP. Rotoworld Today, 7:53 pm
    • Pete Alonso homers in loss
Pete Alonso went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer on Wednesday against the Rangers.

Advice: The Mets offense was finally held in check after a chaotically-successful week powered by a particular McDonalds’ universe character. Still, Alonso seems to be heating up with a four-game RBI streak. Rotoworld Today, 7:52 pm
    • Bypassed in save opportunity
Neris was not used to close out Wednesday's 6-5 win over the Giants, with Colten Brewer getting the save instead.

Advice: Neris took the loss and blew a save against the Giants on Monday, allowing three runs (two earned) in an inning of work, and he's allowed a total of seven earned runs over his last three outings. The veteran's ERA has climbed to 4.73 as a result of his recent struggles, and he's blown four saves this year in 14 chances. Chicago manager Craig Counsell said following Monday's game that he didn't plan on making a change at closer, according to James Neveau of Yahoo Sports, but this situation could be fluid. Brewer is at least worth keeping an eye on in the short term. Rotowire.com Today, 5:39 pm

    • Delivers seven scoreless frames
Keller allowed two hits and two walks over seven scoreless innings in a no-decision against the Reds on Wednesday. He struck out seven.

Advice: Keller was locked in Wednesday, holding Cincinnati hitless until the fifth inning, ultimately turning in his second scoreless outing in his last three starts. However, Keller wouldn't factor into the decision as the Pirates couldn't get on the board until Bryan Reynolds homered in the eighth, providing the lone run in a 1-0 victory. Keller's been excellent since the start of May, pitching to a 1.53 ERA over his last eight outings. Overall, the right-hander's 8-4 with a 3.11 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 85:24 K:BB across 15 starts (92.2 innings) this season. Keller will look to keep rolling in his next start, currently scheduled as a rematch with Cincinnati on the road. Rotowire.com Today, 2:45 pm

    • Taking seat Wednesday
Schneider is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Red Sox.

Advice: Schneider will retreat to the bench after he started in each of the past three games while going 2-for-12 with a solo home run, a double and two walks. With Schneider out of the lineup, the Blue Jays will open up a spot in the outfield for Kevin Kiermaier, who will be flanked by Daulton Varsho in left field and George Springer in right field.
