    • Notches two more thefts
Acuna went 1-for-4 with a pair of stolen bases Monday in a loss to the Mariners.

Advice: Acuna's wheels were key in the production of Atlanta's only run, as the star outfielder began the seventh inning by reaching on an infield single, subsequently stole both second and third base, and came around to score on an Ozzie Albies double. Acuna also struck out three times in the contest, and he's now fanned multiple times in three straight games, but fantasy managers are likely to mostly ignore that as long as he continues to run wild on the basepaths. Acuna began the campaign with just one steal through his first nine games, but he's since racked up 12 steals over his subsequent 18 contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:53 pm
    • Fires six hitless frames
Fried pitched six scoreless and hitless innings against Seattle on Monday, walking two batters and striking out seven in a no-decision.

Advice: Fried was dominant in the outing, racking up 15 swinging strikes and allowing just two baserunners, both of whom reached via walk. However, he didn't get a chance to try to extend his no-hit bid beyond the sixth frame because he needed 100 pitches just to get that deep. Still, he was in line for the victory until A.J. Minter gave up a walk-off homer to Mitch Garver in the ninth frame. Fried began the campaign with two poor starts but has turned things around since, tossing three quality starts among his past four outings. He hasn't given up any runs across 15 frames over his past two starts. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:47 pm

    • Set for Tuesday return
Darvish (neck) will be activated from the 15-day injured list to start Tuesday's game against the Reds, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Darvish landed on the IL on April 17 with neck tightness, but he'll be ready to return when first eligible after he checked out fine while throwing a bullpen session last Wednesday. Before his brief shutdown due to the injury, Darvish didn't display his best stuff through his first five outings of the 2024 campaign, posting a 4.18 ERA and 1.27 WHIP with 22 punchouts over 23.2 frames. • Ronald Acuña Jr. steal two bags against Mariners
Ronald Acuña Jr. stole two bases and scored a run in a loss to the Mariners on Monday.

Advice: After breaking up Bryce Miller’s no-hitter, Acuña swiped second base to get into scoring position, and then took advantage of Seattle not paying attention by getting to third. He scored what looked to be the go-ahead run on a double from Ozzie Albies, but the Mariners were able to score two in the ninth to get the win. With the pair of thefts, Acuña is up to 13 stolen bases in the first month of action. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:15 pm
    • Max Fried hurls six no-hit innings against Seattle
Max Fried hurled six no-hit innings with seven strikeouts in a no-decision Monday against the Mariners.

Advice: Fried did walk two, and unfortunately for the southpaw he needed exactly 100 pitches to get through the six frames. Otherwise there’s a good chance this could’ve been a no-no, as the Mariners were absolutely dominated by the 30-year-old. This comes after Fried was able to get a complete-game shutout, to say he’s pitching well lately is quite the understatement. He has lowered his ERA from 7.71 to 4.02 in the process, and will try and lower it again Sunday against the Dodgers in Los Angeles. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:14 pm

    • Could need just one rehab start
Cubs manager Craig Counsell said Monday that it's possible Steele (hamstring) rejoins the rotation after his rehab start with Triple-A Iowa on Wednesday, Meghan Montemurro of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Advice: The left-hander's rehab start Wednesday will be his first outing since he suffered a left hamstring strain back on Opening Day. As long as Steele gets his pitch count up to a high enough threshold and recovers well from the start, it sounds like he could be back with the Cubs early next week. • Steele (hamstring) may make only one rehab start
Cubs manager Craig Counsell told reporters Monday that Justin Steele (hamstring) may only need one rehab start.

Advice: Steele is set to make a rehab start with Triple-A Iowa on Wednesday, and Counsell wouldn’t rule out that the southpaw could make his next start with the Cubs after that outing. Even is the 28-year-old needs to make one more rehab appearance after, it shouldn’t be long before Steele is back in the rotation for the Cubs and fantasy managers. • MRI reveals left flexor muscle strain for Luzardo
An MRI revealed that Jesús Luzardo is dealing with a left flexor muscle strain.

Advice: Luzardo has been placed on the injured list due to left elbow tightness, but now there’s more specifics. The left-hander was able to play catch Monday,a and that along with no structural damage is good news. Assuming no setbacks, there’s a chance Luzardo will only miss a couple starts before returning in May. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:27 pm

    • Carlos Correa (intercostal) officially off of IL
Twins activated INF Carlos Correa off the 10-day injured list.

Advice: Correa ended up missing a couple of weeks with his intercostal strain. The infielder is back with Austin Martin heading back to Triple-A in the corresponding transaction. Now that Correa is back, he’ll play everyday at shortstop and hit in the middle of the Minnesota lineup. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:15 pm
