    • Fans 10 in no-decision
Miller allowed one run on two hits and one walk while striking out 10 batters over seven innings in a no-decision against Atlanta on Monday.

Advice: Miller racked up 17 whiffs en route to a season-high 10 punchouts while mostly silencing a potent Atlanta offense. However, opposing starter Max Fried was even better with six hitless frames, and Miller actually departed in line for the loss after giving up a run in the seventh. He was taken off the hook, though, when Mitch Garver belted a walk-off homer in the ninth inning. The outing was Miller's fourth quality start over his past five appearances, and he's given up just four earned runs across 30.1 frames during that span. His 2.04 overall ERA ranks 12th among qualified MLB starters. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:41 pm

    • Drives in three runs
Bohm went 1-for-3 with three RBI and a walk in Monday's loss to the Angels.

Advice: Bohm knocked a two-run single in the first inning and added an RBI sacrifice fly in the ninth. He's been an RBI machine this season, racking up 10 over his last six games, giving him 29 on the year. He trails only Atlanta's Marcell Ozuna on the RBI leaderboard. Bohm is slashing .364/.439/.607 with 17 extra-base knocks and a 15:19 BB:K through 30 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:27 pm

    • Bryce Miller whiffs 10 over seven scoreless
Bryce Miller allowed just a run on two hits in seven innings of work with 10 strikeouts, but still took a no-decision against Atlanta on Monday.

Advice: Miller was outstanding, as he was perfect through the first five frames before issuing a walk in the sixth. His no-hitter was broken up in the seventh by Ronald Acuna Jr;, and after Acuna Jr. stole second and third base, Ozzie Albies doubled in the go-ahead — and ultimately — winning run. It’s a disappointing ending, but it showed off the swing-and-miss stuff and vastly improved command that he’s shown in 2024. The Seattle rotation is phenomenal. The offense is another thing. Miller will take a 2.04 ERA into his start Sunday against the Astros. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:15 pm

    • Nolan Jones likely headed to IL with back injury
Luke Zahlmann of The Denver Gazette reports that Nolan Jones (back) is likely headed to the injured list.

Advice: Jones was removed from Sunday’s game with stiffness in his back. The 25-year-old will be replaced on the roster by prospect Jordan Beck, with the transaction likely announced Tuesday. Jones has been a disappointment this year, and now he’ll miss at least a week while recovering from the back ailment. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:39 pm

    • Sharp in second win
Irvin (2-2) picked up the win in Monday's 7-2 victory over the Marlins, giving up two runs on four hits over six innings. He struck out three without walking a batter.

Advice: The right-hander delivered his third quality start of the season in efficient fashion, tossing 59 of 84 pitches for strikes and taking a shutout into the sixth inning before Jazz Chisholm launched a two-run homer to center field. Irvin will carry a 4.28 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 26:7 K:BB through 33.2 innings into his next outing, which lines up to come at home this weekend against the Blue Jays. • Jake Irvin allows two runs in six innings against Marlins
Jake Irvin allowed just two earned runs and punched out three batters against the Marlins on Monday.

Advice: Irvin has pitched six innings in three of his past four starts and was able to limit runs unlike his last outing where he gave up six to the Dodgers. He hasn’t been able to get batters to strikeout as much as he was at the beginning of the season. He’s struck out just three batters in back-to-back starts after having at least four punch outs in every start previously. Fantasy managers should plan to start Irvin on a matchup-basis as he’s gotten rocked against the Phillies and Dodgers, but has been serviceable against lesser opponents. He’ll likely be on the bump again when the Nationals take on the Blue Jays this weekend. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:06 pm

    • Snaps slump Sunday
Volpe went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run, an additional run scored, a stolen base and two walks in Sunday's 15-5 rout over Milwaukee.

Advice: After a scorching start to the season, Volpe had fallen back a bit in the second half of April, as he came into Sunday batting .157 with no homers and a 30.9 percent strikeout rate over 12 games since April 15. He turned things around -- at least temporarily -- by reaching four times against Milwaukee on Sunday, with his fifth-inning three-run homer opening the floodgates for a Yankees offensive outburst late in the contest. Despite his recent slump, Volpe still has strong overall numbers on the campaign -- he's slashing .282/.368/.418 with three home runs, 13 RBI, 20 runs and seven stolen bases through 126 plate appearances. • Julien out of lineup as Twins bench all lefties
The Twins are opting to bench all their left-handed hitters against Garrett Crochet, which means Edouard Julien, Alex Kirilloff, Trevor Larnach, and Max Kepler are all on the bench on Monday.

Advice: We had been waiting to see who would get the short end of the stick with Carlos Correa returning from the IL, but it’s impossible to tell that from this lineup. The Twins continue to be the most platoon-heavy lineup in baseball, which is incredibly frustrating for fantasy purposes. Kyle Farmer will get the start at 2B with Manuel Margot in RF, and Willi Castro in LF. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:27 pm

    • Out again versus lefty
Julien is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the White Sox.

Advice: The Twins are facing a lefty for the fourth time in the last six games and Julien has been out of the lineup on all four occasions. Kyle Farmer will handle second base in Julien's place. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:26 pm
