    • Reaches base three times
Pena went 2-for-2 with a double, a walk, two RBI and a run scored Tuesday against the Cardinals.

Advice: Pena entered Tuesday's game having failed to tally an extra-base hit in 10 straight starts. He ended that drought with an RBI double in the third inning and also drove in a run on a sacrifice fly one frame later. Pena is now hitting .302 with five home runs and nine stolen bases across 251 plate appearances on the campaign. Rotowire.com Today, 12:10 am
    • Up to seven saves
Fairbanks earned the save in Tuesday's 9-5 win over Miami, striking out a pair in a perfect ninth inning.

Advice: Phil Maton originally got the call in the ninth with Tampa up by four runs. However, he'd allow the Marlins to load the bases on three straight singles, forcing the Rays to turn to Fairbanks who proceeded to strike out Bryan De La Cruz and Jake Burger before coaxing a game-ending groundout from Josh Bell. It was an impressive performance from the 30-year-old right-hander, who hasn't allowed an earned run in his last 11 innings. Overall, Fairbanks is 7-for-8 in save chances with a 3.50 ERA, 1.39 WHIP and 21:10 K:BB over 18 innings this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:58 pm
    • Jeremy Peña drives in two in win over Cardinals
Jeremy Peña went 2-for-2 with a double and two RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Cardinals.

Advice: Peña doubled off of Andre Pallante in the third inning to drive in Alex Bregman and give the Astros a 3-1 lead. He later hit a sacrifice fly to again drive in Bregman while pushing the Astros’ lead to 7-2. Peña is now hitting .302 on the season with five homers, 23 RBI, and nine stolen bases. His 71 hits are tied for ninth-most in the majors, as he continues to be a staple in a potent Astros lineup. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:50 pm
    • Goes deep in win
Greene went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Rangers.

Advice: Greene extended his hitting streak to six games, and he's batting .391 with two home runs during the hot stretch. Overall, the 23-year-old outfielder is batting .249 with 11 long balls, which matches his career-high total from last season. Greene is still a bit inconsistent at the plate, which isn't surprising for a player his age, but he's been dynamic when he's locked in Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:08 pm

    • Riley Greene hits 11th homer in win over Rangers
Riley Greene went 1-for-4 with a home run in Tuesday’s win over the Rangers.

Advice: Greene smacked his 11th homer of the season off of Dane Dunning in the fifth inning to push the Tigers’ lead to 3-0. Greene has hit safely in six straight games and has two homers over that span. He continues to be a productive hitter at the top of the Tigers’ lineup and is fifth on the team with 24 RBI. • Pete Fairbanks earns save in win over Marlins
Pete Fairbanks put out a bases-loaded jam to secure a save in a 9-5 win over the Marlins on Tuesday.

Advice: Phil Maton started the ninth inning with the Rays up by four runs, but he allowed three straight hits, so the Rays called on Fairbanks to bail them out. The right-hander got two strikeouts and then a groundout to end the game and earn his seventh save of the season. The 30-year-old has battled some injuries and nerve issues in his throwing hand, but he has a 3.50 ERA on the season and remains a solid closer when healthy. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:17 pm
    • Zach Eflin (back) to start Wednesday vs. Marlins
Zach Eflin (back) will start on Wednesday against the Marlins.

Advice: It’s a soft landing spot for Eflin as he draws the starting assignment for Wednesday’s series finale against a light-hitting Marlins lineup that ranks 29th this season in runs scored. The 30-year-old righty has been on the shelf since late May due to lower back inflammation. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:39 pm

    • Report: Padres pursuing trade for Garrett Crochet
The Athletic’s Dennis Lin and Ken Rosenthal report the Padres have shown strong interest in trade discussions for White Sox left-hander Garrett Crochet.

Advice: Here we go. No word on how close a potential deal may be, but it’s worth noting the two sides struck a deal a few months ago centered around White Sox ace Dylan Cease and appear to be circling another potential blockbuster. San Diego’s starting pitching depth took a serious hit last weekend with Yu Darvish (groin) and Joe Musgrove (elbow) landing on the injured list so it wouldn’t be shocking to see Padres general manager AJ Preller getting aggressive to fill the void. Crochet is in the midst of an unexpected breakout campaign with a stellar 3.49 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 93/15 K/BB ratio across 69 2/3 innings (13 starts). The former top prospect is still only 24 years old and figures to command an astronomical asking price in trade talks. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:13 pm

    • Cleared by MLB
Major League Baseball announced Tuesday that it has cleared Ohtani, closed its investigation and considers him "a victim of fraud" at the hands of his former interpreter, Ippei Mizuhara, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.

Advice: Mizuhara pleaded guilty to bank and tax fraud charges Tuesday, per Alden Gonzalez of ESPN.com, and MLB considers the mattered settled given the "thoroughness of the federal investigation." Ohtani has continued to produce as an MVP candidate despite the background noise and has 14 home runs, 14 steals and a .322/.392/.596 slash line through 58 games this season.
