Junis (shoulder/head) will begin his minor-league rehab assignment Tuesday with Triple-A Nashville, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Reports.
Advice: The righty has been on the shelf since April 6 due to a right shoulder impingement and had his return timeline pushed back further after he was stretchered off the field April 22 when he was struck in the head by a foul ball in batting practice. After resuming his throwing program a few weeks ago, Junis reported to the Brewers' spring complex in Arizona last week and checked out fine after facing hitters. He'll likely require multiple rehab outings to build up his pitch count and potentially put himself in consideration for a spot in Milwaukee's rotation.
