    • Smacks leadoff homer
Betts went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Monday's 6-4 extra-inning win over the Giants.

Advice: Betts snapped a 26-game homer drought with his leadoff blast Monday. He was far from a slouch in that span, batting .337 with an .848 OPS during the power drought. For the season, Betts is up to a .341/.440/.553 slash line with seven homers, 28 RBI, 35 runs scored, eight stolen bases, 11 doubles and two triples over 200 plate appearances. While it has cost him some power, Betts is enjoying the best plate discipline of his career with a 15.0 percent walk rate and 9.0 percent strikeout rate. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:48 pm

    • Semien picks up double Monday
Marcus Semien went 1-for-4 with a double as the Rangers were shutout in the loss to the Guardians on Monday.

Advice: It was a quiet night for the Rangers offense. While it was ruled a double, Semien’s hit was definitely misplayed by Guardians outfielder Estevan Florial. Semien’s hitting .284 this season and continues to hit leadoff and play everyday for one of the best lineups in all of baseball. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:51 pm

    • Drives in four runs
Ramirez went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two stolen bases, and two walks in Monday's win over the Rangers.

Advice: Ramirez knocked two-run singles in both the eighth and ninth innings Monday. It was his first time drawing multiple walks or stealing multiple bases in a game this season. Ramirez was stuck in a 1-for-19 slump over his previous six games before Monday's performance. The veteran third baseman bumped his slash line to .242/.294/.455 with 37 RBI, seven steals and 16 extra-base hits through 41 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:40 pm

    • Scoreless in no-decision
Bibee allowed three hits and two walks over 5.1 scoreless innings in a no-decision Monday. He struck out four during the win over Texas.

Advice: Bibee failed to complete six innings for the third consecutive start, but this time it was simply due to a high pitch count. He was tagged with 10 runs in his previous two starts but bounced back with his second scoreless start of the year. Bibee retired the first 11 batters Monday before tailing off a bit near the end of his start, including leaving the game after loading the bases in the sixth inning. He lowered his ERA to 4.34 with a 48:15 K:BB through 45.2 innings. Bibee's next start is expected to be at home this weekend against the Twins. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:35 pm
    • Bibee gets no-decision Monday
Tanner Bibee threw 5 1/3 innings of shutout ball in a no-decision in the Guardians’ 7-0 victory over the Rangers on Monday.

Advice: Bibee allowed three hits, two walks and struck out four in the contest. Guardians manager Stephen Vogt removed Bibee from the game with the bases loaded in the sixth inning. Reliever Nick Sandlin escaped the jam without any runs scoring, preserving Bibee’s ERA. His ERA is 4.34 on the season. The 25-year-old right-hander is set to face the Twins at home this weekend. • Shota Imanaga fans eight over five shutout frames
Shota Imanaga struck out eight over five shutout innings on Monday in a no-decision against the Braves.

Advice: Imanaga continues to be an unexpected revelation in his Cubs debut, allowing two earned runs or fewer for the eighth consecutive start in this one. The 30-year-old southpaw silenced Atlanta’s formidable lineup, scattering seven hits and three walks over five scoreless frames. He induced a staggering 18 swinging strikes and finished with a 27 percent CSW, needing 98 pitches (58 strikes) to get through five innings. He’ll bring a sublime 0.96 ERA, 0.94 WHIP and 51/8 K/BB ratio across 46 2/3 innings (eight starts) into a favorable home outing on Saturday against the Pirates. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:45 pm
    • Fans eight in no-decision
Imanaga did not factor into the decision Monday against Atlanta, allowing seven hits and three walks over five shutout innings. He struck out eight.

Advice: With his five shutout frames Monday, Imanaga shaved his ERA down to 0.96, a sterling mark for his first 46.2 major league innings. However, the Atlanta offense made the Cubs lefty work hard for his scoreless night as they had 10 baserunners and drew three walks, both setting season-highs allowed for Imanaga. He draws a much easier opponent in his next start, scheduled against Pittsburgh at home this upcoming weekend. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:31 pm
    • Throws Monday, but far off return
Bradford (ribs) played catch Monday, Jeff Wilson of RangersToday.com reports.

Advice: According to MLB.com, manager Bruce Bochy said Friday that Bradford could be cleared to begin throwing off a mound at some point later on this week during the Rangers' six-game homestand. Bradford was originally placed on the 15-day injured list April 14 with lower-back soreness, but follow-up tests revealed that the southpaw had a "very small" stress fracture on the 12th rib on the right side of his body. Bochy said that the Rangers are expecting Bradford to be sidelined for another month, which would put him in line for a return around the middle of June. Bradford went 3-0 with a 1.40 ERA in three starts prior to landing on the IL, but the Rangers may not have a rotation spot available for him once he's healthy. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:06 pm
