    • Four hits, homer in win
Bellinger went 4-for-5 with two doubles, a solo home run and an additional run scored in Friday's 7-2 victory over the Pirates.

Advice: Bellinger opened the scoring in the first inning, launching a solo shot off an 0-2 pitch from Jared Jones to give the Cubs an early lead. The 28-year-old Bellinger is now 7-for-13 with a pair of home runs in three games since returning from the IL. Overall, he's slashing .268/.345/.536 with seven homers, 19 RBI and 13 runs scored through 25 games this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:39 pm

    • Notches fifth save
Hader earned the save in Friday's 5-2 win over the Tigers, working around a walk while striking out two in a scoreless inning.

Advice: Hader's allowed just one earned run in his last 7.1 innings while improving to 5-for-6 in save chances. After a shaky start to the year, the left-hander's lowered his ERA to 5.29 with a 1.35 WHIP and 27:8 K:BB across 17 innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:52 pm
    • Cody Bellinger goes 4-for-5, homers in Cubs’ win
Cody Bellinger finished 4-for-5 with a homer and two doubles Friday in the Cubs’ 7-2 takedown of the Pirates.

Advice: A great night, but somehow, he drove in only himself despite his other three hits all coming with men on base. His first double produced a run, but it actually scored on a Yasmani Grandal error when Nico Hoerner should have been out at home plate. Mike Tauchman stopped at third base on Bellinger’s other double. Bellinger is hitting .268/.345/.536 in 110 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:47 pm

    • Nick Castellanos goes deep in victory over Marlins
Nick Castellanos clubbed his third home run of the season on Friday night as the Phillies crushed the Marlins in Miami.

Advice: Castellanos opened the scoring in the contest with his 400-foot (104.4 mph EV) solo shot off of Trevor Rogers in the second inning. That would be his only hit in five at-bats on the night. For the season, the 32-year-old slugger is hitting an underwhelming .207/.268/.303 with just three homers and 13 RBI. • Josh Hader slams door on Tigers on Friday night
Josh Hader picked up his fifth save of the season on Friday night, working a scoreless ninth inning to preserve a three-run advantage against the Tigers.

Advice: After struggling for most of the season, Hader recorded saves on back-to-back nights for the first time all season. The 30-year-old southpaw did issue a two-out walk to Jake Rogers after getting Ryan Vilade on a swinging-third strike, Javier Baez on a fly ball to center, but he battled back to get Andy Ibanez on strikes to end it. He has now converted five of his first six save chances with an impressive 27/8 K/BB ratio over 17 innings on the year — it’s just the 5.29 ERA that looks horribly out of place. • Not starting against Yanks
Rosario is not in the starting lineup for Friday's matchup against the Yankees, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Advice: The 28-year-old infielder has been the go-to second basemen for Tampa Bay recently as they've been dealing with an injured Brandon Lowe (oblique), but Rosario will start from the dugout Friday. He currently sports a .301 average with 15 RBI, and Richie Palacios will get the start at second base and will bat seventh in the lineup. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:33 pm

    • Records four-out save
Hader earned a save against the Yankees on Thursday, allowing one hit and striking out one batter over 1.1 scoreless innings.

Advice: Hader was called upon with two outs and a runner on first with Houston protecting a one-run lead in the bottom of the eighth inning. He got Anthony Rizzo to pop out to end the frame, then completed the save with a scoreless ninth despite allowing a leadoff single. It was just the second time this season Hader was asked to get more than three outs, though he kept his workload relatively light by throwing 14 of his 18 pitches for strikes. The veteran closer's 5.63 ERA so far is well below his career standard, but he has converted four of his five save chances and has 25 punchouts over 16 frames. Rotowire.com Thursday, 11:10 pm
    • Improves to 4-0
Blanco (4-0) earned the win over the Yankees on Thursday, allowing two runs on four hits and four walks while striking out five batters over 5.2 innings.

Advice: Blanco was a bit shaky with his control, as he threw just 62 of 107 pitches for strikes and tied a season high with four free passes. However, he allowed just one extra-base hit -- an Anthony Volpe two-run homer that accounted for both runs against him. Blanco thus improved his perfect record to 4-0 on the season, and he's allowed three or fewer runs in all seven of his starts. He's also recorded five quality starts on the campaign, falling one out shy in each of his two outings during which he hasn't met that mark. Blanco has cemented his place in Houston's rotation with a 2.23 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 41:20 K:BB through 44.1 innings. Rotowire.com Thursday, 11:04 pm

    • Josh Hader notches four-out save against Yankees
Josh Hader recorded a four-out save on Thursday against the Yankees.

Advice: Hader came on to record the final out of the eighth inning before heading back out to spin a scoreless ninth inning to collect his fourth save of the season. The 30-year-old lefty has converted four of five save chances in his Astros debut so far to go along with a bloated 5.63 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 25/7 K/BB ratio across 16 innings (16 appearances). There’s zero reason for concern here moving forward as he continues to miss bats at an elite rate. Rotoworld Thursday, 5:05 pm
