    • Clubs seventh homer
Lindor went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's loss to Atlanta.

Advice: The veteran shortstop took Charlie Morton deep in the seventh innings to get the Mets on the board, but they were already facing a 4-0 deficit at that point. Lindor has had a good start to May, batting .276 (8-for-29) through eight games with 10 RBI, but on the season he still carries a disappointing .212/.282/.404 slash line with seven homers, four steals, 21 RBI and 22 runs in 37 contests. • Kyle Schwarber dealing with back soreness
Kyle Schwarber is dealing with back soreness.

Advice: Schwarber was lifted for a pinch-hitter in the ninth inning of Friday’s contest against the Marlins due to a back issue and told reporters afterwards that he expects to take the day off on Saturday to rest and recover. It doesn’t sound like a serious concern moving forward, but back issues can be tricky. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now. Rotoworld Today, 7:39 am

    • Dealing with back soreness
Schwarber left in the ninth inning of Friday's 8-2 win over the Marlins due to a sore back, per MLB.com.

Advice: Schwarber's back tightened on his last swing in the seventh inning, and Kody Clemens came in to pinch hit in the ninth frame. Schwarber noted that he'll "probably take [Saturday] off...hopefully I'll wake up [Saturday] feeling better, and we'll keep going." The 31-year-old went 2-for-5 with a two-run single in the fourth inning in Friday's win. Rotowire.com Today, 7:15 am

    • Quality start in loss
Webb (3-4) allowed three runs (two earned) on eight hits and two walks while striking out six over seven innings to take the loss versus the Reds on Friday.

Advice: Webb has walked multiple batters in three straight starts, but he was at least able to pitch deeper in this contest after failing to get past the fourth inning in either of his last two outings. It's still an uncharacteristic rough patch for the Giants' ace. He's sports a 3.38 ERA, 1.39 WHIP and 42:14 K:BB through 53.1 innings across nine starts this season. Webb's projected for a tough home matchup with the Dodgers in his next outing. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:11 pm

    • Logan Webb works seven, allows two in loss to Reds
Logan Webb gave up three runs — two earned — while working seven innings in a loss Friday to the Reds.

Advice: Webb was much better than his middling start Sunday against the Phillies, but unfortunately it does result in another loss for the 27-year-old. The right-hander gave up eight hits with two walks, and he struck out six. A solid effort, and it lowers his ERA to 3.38 on the season. The Dodgers come next for Webb. • Francisco Lindor hits home run in loss
Francisco Lindor hit a late homer off Charlie Morton in a loss to the Braves.

Advice: The Mets’ offense was quiet all night as Morton held them to just three hits, the loudest being Lindor’s solo shot. He’s done well to put his slow start behind him with six homers over the last three weeks. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:49 pm

    • On bench for third straight game
Chourio is absent from the lineup for Friday's game versus the Cardinals.

Advice: In three games since Christian Yelich returned from the injured list, Chourio has been out of the lineup each time, although he did get a couple plate appearances off the bench Wednesday. Yelich, Sal Frelick and Blake Perkins appear to be ahead of Chourio in the outfield pecking order, and Jake Bauers might be as well. The 20-year-old rookie is slashing just .205/.275/.397 through his first 25 MLB contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:46 pm

    • Josh Naylor batting cleanup for Guardians Friday
Josh Naylor will hit in his normal cleanup spot for Friday night’s showdown against the White Sox.

Advice: He’s getting a partial day off as he’ll function as the team’s designated hitter on Friday night against tough left-hander Garrett Crochet. David Fry will start at first base in his place and bat second for the Guardians, pushing Kyle Manzardo to the bench. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:44 pm

    • Available Friday
Garcia (back) is available for Friday's game against the Twins, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Advice: Garcia hasn't pitched in a game since April 28 but is ready to take the mound this weekend versus Minnesota. The right-hander has been dominant this season with a 0.68 ERA, 0.53 WHIP and 16:3 K:BB across 13.1 innings, and he should continue to serve as the setup man to closer Jordan Romano.
