    • Varsho blasts ninth home run Thursday
Daulton Varsho went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run against the Tigers on Thursday.

Advice: Varsho came to the plate in a tie game in the seventh inning and hit a two-run home run off Tigers starter Jack Flaherty that put the Blue Jays ahead for good. Varsho is hitting just .213 this year, but he has five stolen bases to go with nine home runs and 27 RBI. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:30 pm

    • Homers again Thursday
Judge went 2-for-2 with a solo homer, a double, two walks and a second run scored in Thursday's 5-0 win over the Mariners.

Advice: Judge extended the Yankees lead to 2-0 with a 414-foot shot off Luis Castillo in the third inning, his 15th long ball this year, tied for third-most in the majors, and his second in as many days. Judge has been on a tear this month, going 27-for-63 (.429) with nine homers and 17 RBI in his last 19 games. After a slow start to the season, he's boosted his slash line to .276/.416/.611 with 35 RBI, 34 runs scored and a pair of stolen bases. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:23 pm

    • Bryan Reynolds has three hits, homer in defeat
Bryan Reynolds went 3-for-5 with a homer in a loss Thursday to the Giants.

Advice: Reynolds hit one of three homers for the Pirates on Thursday. The 29-year-old also singled twice to push his average to .260 with a .772 OPS. Reynolds should continue to see those numbers climb as we get deeper into the season based on his track record. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:55 pm
    • Aaron Judge hits 15th homer in win over Mariners
Aaron Judge hit a solo homer in a 5-0 win over the Mariners on Thursday.

Advice: Judge also walked twice and scored after one of those free passes. The slugger slaughtered a Luis Castillo offering for his 15th homer of the season and it gave New York a 2-0 lead. Remember when Judge was scuffling? We don’t either. He remains as reliable a power threat as there is in the sport. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:22 pm

    • Blake Snell is headed to the paternity list
Padres place LHP Blake Snell on the paternity list.

Advice: Congratulations to Blake and his family. The left-hander will miss the next few games to be with his partner and should return in time to face the Phillies. Perhaps they will be kind to the new father as he looks to lower his 11.40 ERA and 2.07 WHIP. Nick Avila was called up in a corresponding move. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:00 am

    • Goes on paternity leave
The Giants placed Snell on the paternity list Thursday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Advice: Snell will be off the active roster for a few days while welcoming a new baby, but he's expected to rejoin the Giants in time for his next start, which is slated for Monday against the Phillies at Oracle Park. Reliever Nick Avila was called up from Double-A Richmond to take over Snell's spot on the 26-man active roster. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:11 am

    • Converts on sixth save
Scott earned the save Wednesday against Milwaukee, allowing one hit and no walks across a scoreless inning with one strikeout.

Advice: Scott is now 6-for-7 on save chances this season and has added four tallies in the win column. The 29-year-old has been charged with at least one earned run in just two of his 21 appearances, owning a 1.71 ERA with a 22:18 K:BB across 21.0 innings. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 8:52 pm

    • Struggles again Wednesday
Miller (3-5) allowed five runs on five hits and struck out four without walking a batter over six innings, taking the loss versus the Yankees on Wednesday.

Advice: Miller's last two starts, on the road versus the Orioles and Yankees, have shown that he still has some work to do against elite offenses. He was done in by the long ball Wednesday -- Aaron Judge tagged him for a two-run home run in the first inning and Juan Soto went deep twice in the contest. Miller has allowed multiple homers in four of his 10 starts this season, giving up a total of 10 long balls. The right-hander has a 3.53 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 56:16 K:BB over 58.2 innings. His next start is projected to be at home versus the Astros. Miller gave up four runs on six hits, including two homers and one walk over six innings in a May 5 start at Houston. • Opens scoring Wednesday
Judge went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run, a walk and two total runs scored in Wednesday's 7-3 win over the Mariners.

Advice: Judge saw an eight-game hitting streak snapped Tuesday, but he's reached base in 10 straight contests. During the on-base streak, he's gone 15-for-34 (.441) with five homers, nine RBI, 12 runs scored, six doubles and an 11:9 BB:K. The slugger has been strong at the plate all year, slashing .268/.405/.585 with 14 long balls, 34 RBI, 32 runs scored, 16 doubles and two stolen bases over 51 contests. Judge's 24.7 percent strikeout rate is the lowest mark of his career, which should allow him to continue to succeed as long as he keeps it in check. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 8:21 pm
