    • Removed with knee discomfort
Perez was pulled from Friday's game against the Dodgers due to right knee discomfort.

Advice: Perez hit a three-run homer in the fourth inning to give Kansas City a 3-0 lead, but his knee caused him to come out of the game during the eighth. It's unclear how severe the backstop's injury is, but the Royals should know more before Saturday's contest. If he does have to miss any amount of time, Freddy Fermin would be the next man up to serve as Kansas City's catcher. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:21 pm

    • Falls to Yankees
Bello (6-4) took the loss Friday against the Yankees, allowing five runs (four earned) on six hits and three walks over 4.2 innings. He struck out five.

Advice: Bello surrendered a two-run homer to Alex Verdugo in the first inning before the Yankees tacked on two more earned runs in the fifth. It's been a tough stretch for the 25-year-old Bello, who's struggled to a 7.04 ERA over his last six starts. Overall, his ERA sits at 5.00 on the season with a 1.40 WHIP and 56:24 K:BB across 63 innings. He'll look to get back on track in his next outing, currently scheduled for next week in Toronto. • Chased early in loss
Littell (2-5) yielded seven runs (six earned) on eight hits and a walk over two innings Friday, striking out two and taking a loss against Atlanta.

Advice: Atlanta jumped all over Littell right out of the gate, tallying five runs in the first and two more in the second. It was Littell's shortest outing of the year and he saw his ERA jump from 3.63 to 4.24 in the process. Over his last six starts, he's posted a 5.79 ERA in 31.2 frames. Still looking for his first win since May 11, Littell's next start is projected to be in Minnesota. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:33 pm

    • Matt Waldron allows two runs across seven innings
Matt Waldron kept the Mets at bay through seven innings on Friday allowing just three hits and two earned runs. He walked two and struck out two.

Advice: This was another solid start for Waldron without being as dominant as his last handful. His knuckleball danced through the rainy night sky in Queens and the Mets had plenty of trouble squaring it up. He’ll take a 3.66 ERA into his next start against the Phillies. • Alex Bregman smacks RBI triple in win over Tigers
Alex Bregman went 1-for-4 and smacked a run-scoring triple on Friday night as the Astros triumphed over the Tigers.

Advice: Bregman finally got the scoring started in the ballgame with his RBI triple off of Tigers’ start left-hander Tarik Skubal in the sixth inning. He then trotted home on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Yordan Alvarez. With his 1-for-4 night, the 30-year-old third baseman is now hitting .240/.303/.407 with nine homers, 33 RBI and a pair of stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:09 pm

    • Fans seven in win
Sale (9-2) allowed two runs on five hits and two walks over seven innings Friday, striking out seven and earning a win over the Rays.

Advice: Sale coughed up a run before recording an out in the first inning but settled in for a strong quality start in the win. He forced 17 swinging strikes, including 12 on the slider. It was Sale's second consecutive quality start and sixth in his last seven appearances. The veteran lefty has posted a 2.60 ERA over 45 innings during that span. For the season, he owns a 2.98 ERA with a 99:13 K:BB through 13 outings. Sale's next start is lined up to be on the road against the Yankees. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:51 pm

    • Anthony Volpe steals two bags in win on Friday
Anthony Volpe went 1-for-5 with a pair of stolen bases and a run scored on Friday night as the Yankees triumphed over the Red Sox.

Advice: Volpe led off the fifth inning with a single, then swiped second and third base before scoring on Alex Verdugo’s RBI double. That would be his lone hit in five at-bats on the evening. For the season, the dynamic 23-year-old shortstop is now hitting .272/.330/.415 with six homers, 26 RBI and 15 stolen bases. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:48 pm

    • Brayan Bello struggles in loss to Yankees Friday
Brayan Bello was hit hard in Friday night’s loss to the Yankees, surrendering five runs (four earned) on six hits over his 4 2/3 innings of work.

Advice: The right-hander also issued three free passes on the evening while striking out five. Former teammate Alex Verdugo delivered most of the damage against him in this one, clobbering a two-run homer in the opening inning and adding an RBI double in the fifth. Bello got seven swings and misses on 92 pitches on the night, posting a CSW of 29 percent. He’ll look to bounce back as he carries a 4.86 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and a 56/24 K/BB ratio (63 innings) into Wednesday’s matchup against the Blue Jays in Toronto. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:47 pm

    • Chris Sale strikes out seven in win
Chris Sale allowed two earned runs across seven innings in a 7-3 win over the Rays on Friday. He struck out seven and walked two.

Advice: Sale was his usual emotional and demonstrative self on the mound even after being handed a huge lead early and that intensity carried him to another great start. This was the fifth time in six starts Sale completed seven innings and the eighth time he’s done so already this season. He’s been one of the most valuable pitchers in baseball this season, stepping into the ace role for Atlanta without Spencer Strider. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:06 pm
