    • Launches homer Tuesday
Naylor went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run, a walk and a second run scored in Tuesday's 8-5 win over the Royals.

Advice: Naylor was part of the Guardians' comeback push -- his fourth-inning homer cut the deficit to 5-3. After being one of the team's hottest hitters in April, the first baseman has hit .178 with a .719 OPS since the start of May. Naylor's power is still coming through with 16 homers, a .500 slugging percentage and a .271 ISO. He hasn't had a pronounced issue with strikeouts either, fanning at just a 16.2 percent rate while walking at a career-best 10.3 percent clip. Naylor's .308 batting average last year was likely unsustainable, but he's a better overall hitter than he's been over the last month. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 9:56 am

    • Collects three hits in loss
Bellinger went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Reds.

Advice: Bellinger played well, but the rest of Chicago's lineup could muster only five hits overall, which limited his ability to collect counting stats. The 28-year-old is batting .318 over his last 10 games with a home run, four runs scored and five RBI. If Bellinger gets more support from his teammates, he could really take off across the board, though he should have plenty of fantasy value either way given his ability to hit the ball over the fall and swipe a base on occasion. • Two hits, homer vs. Brewers
Bellinger went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a double in Thursday's 6-4 loss to Milwaukee.

Advice: Bellinger opened the scoring with a two-out solo shot off Colin Rea, giving the Cubs a 1-0 lead in the first inning with his eighth homer of the year and his first in 18 games. While he hadn't been hitting for much power, Bellinger's been seeing the ball well recently -- he has hits in six straight games, going 11-for-27 (.407) in that span, including five consecutive two-hit efforts. The 28-year-old outfielder is now slashing .267/.332/.471 with 26 RBI and 19 runs scored through 190 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Thursday, 3:34 pm

    • Josh Naylor collects two hits in loss to Rockies
Josh Naylor went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI against the Rockies on Wednesday.

Advice: Naylor brought a run in to score in the first inning with a groundout, then knocked a single in the third. He later doubled to lead off the sixth for his second hit of the day. The 26-year-old first baseman has slowed down considerably after a strong April. Still, eight of his 18 hits this month have left the yard. Naylor is hitting .240/.324/.515 with 15 homers and 41 RBI across 225 plate appearances. Rotoworld Wednesday, 8:13 pm

    • Steals first base of 2024
Bellinger went 2-for-5 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored in Wednesday's 10-6 loss to the Brewers. He also stole a base.

Advice: The stolen base was notable because it's the first of the season for Bellinger, though he did miss some time with a fractured ribcage, which could have cut into his running. He had a career-high 20 steals last year as he reached the 20-20 plateau for the first time in seven MLB campaigns. Bellinger hasn't been quite as effective so far in 2024, though he's batting a solid .262 with a .774 OPS, and the 28-year-old has the talent to start racking up the counting stats in a hurry. • Josh Naylor homers twice, drives in five in win
Josh Naylor hit two homers to drive in five runs and lead the Guardians to a 13-7 win over the Rockies on Tuesday.

Advice: We’ve liked Naylor as a sleeper pick to lead the AL in RBI, but José Ramírez, batting one spot ahead of him, just isn’t cooperating thus far; Ramírez leads the majors with 56, while Naylor is third in the AL with 40. We’re still not sure whether Naylor has really gotten hot yet. On the one hand, his 15 homers in 52 games are just two fewer than he hit in 121 games last season. On the other, his .234 average is down 74 points from last year’s .308 mark. Rotoworld Tuesday, 9:49 pm

    • Powers up in win
Naylor went 2-for-4 with two home runs, a walk, five RBI and three total runs scored in Tuesday's 13-7 win over the Rockies.

Advice: Naylor entered Tuesday 0-for-14 over his last three games, and he hadn't logged a multi-hit effort since May 9. Consider the slump busted, as the first baseman tagged starter Ryan Feltner for a two-run blast in the fifth inning before taking reliever Matt Carasiti deep with a three-run shot in the eighth. Naylor is already up to 15 homers through 52 contests this year, just five long balls shy of matching his career high from 2022. He's added a .234/.321/.510 slash line with 40 RBI, 30 runs scored and three stolen bases. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 9:48 pm
