    • Swipes ninth bag
Lindor went 1-for-3 with a walk, an RBI and a stolen base in Monday's win over the Nationals.

Advice: Hitting leadoff against Washington lefty MacKenzie Gore, Lindor got right back up after seeing an 11-game hitting streak snapped Sunday. The veteran shortstop has swiped three bags in the last five contests, giving him nine steals on the season, and over his last 15 games he's slashing .339/.397/.516 with five doubles, two homers, seven runs and eight RBI as he puts a sluggish start to the season behind him. • Earns ninth save
Hader earned a save against the Cardinals on Monday, striking out one in a perfect ninth inning.

Advice: Entering with a 7-4 lead in the ninth inning, Hader needed only 14 pitches to secure his ninth save of the season. Hader has only allowed one run in his past 11 appearances and is now 9-for-10 in save attempts in 2024. He currently owns a 3.54 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 45:10 K:BB in 28 innings. • Homers twice in loss
Gorman went 2-for-3 with two solo home runs in a 7-4 loss to the Astros on Monday.

Advice: Gorman hit solo home runs off Justin Verlander in the first and fifth innings and added a walk in the third. Gorman has been on an absolute binge in his past 10 games, tallying five multi-hit efforts, six home runs and 12 RBI since May 21. On the season, Gorman is now slashing .230/.318/.494 and leads all second basemen in home runs with 13. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:01 pm

    • Strikes out eight in no-decision
Gibson did not factor into the decision in Monday's loss to the Astros, allowing three runs on five hits and three walks with eight strikeouts over 5.2 innings.

Advice: Gibson allowed a two-run home run to Yordan Alvarez in the third inning and was pulled with a 4-3 lead in the sixth after allowing a run and loading the bases. Andrew Kittredge was able to get out of the jam, but the Astros later rallied for four runs in the eighth. Despite faltering late, Gibson has now pitched into the sixth inning in 10 of his 12 starts this season. In those 12 games, Gibson has posted a 3.69 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 60:28 K:BB. He tentatively lines up for a home matchup against the Rockies on Saturday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:59 pm

Marte went 3-for-5 with two runs scored and a stolen base in Monday's 8-7 win over Washington.

Advice: Marte has been on a heater, recording multiple hits four times in his past five games. During that span, the 35-year-old is batting .473 (9-for-19) with four RBI, two steals and three runs scored. Marte is now up to a .275 batting average on the season with six home runs, 23 RBI, 30 runs scored and 10 steals in 224 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:36 pm

    • Gorman blasts two home runs Monday
Nolan Gorman went 2-for-3 with a walk and two solo home runs against the Astros on Monday.

Advice: The two home runs give Gorman 13 on the season. He’s now hit three home runs in his last two games. Gorman isn’t going to provide a good average. He’s hitting .230 and his career average is .230. Gorman can hit the stuffing out of the ball, though. He had 27 home runs in 119 games last year and is on pace to push for 30 home runs this year. Josh Hader threw a scoreless inning to get a save against the Cardinals on Monday.

Advice: Hader’s save was his ninth of the season. He struck out one in a perfect inning of work. Hader had a 6.14 ERA in his first 15 appearances, but has since allowed only one run in his last 11 appearances with 21 strikeouts and only three walks. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:17 pm

    • Gibson strikes out eight in no-decision Monday
Kyle Gibson allowed three runs in 5 2/3 innings and got a no-decision against the Astros on Monday.

Advice: Gibson gave up five hits, walked three and struck out eight. He left the game with a 4-2 lead that the Cardinals bullpen couldn’t hold. Gibson had won two of his last three starts. The eight strikeouts were one away from matching his season-high. His ERA is now 3.69 on the season. The 36-year-old right-hander is set to face the Rockies at home this weekend.

    • Dane Dunning to start Tuesday’s game for Rangers
Dane Dunning will start Tuesday’s game against the Tigers, the Rangers announced.

Advice: We didn’t think this was in doubt, but the Rangers hadn’t confirmed their starters the next two days. Barring a roster move, José Ureña figures to go Wednesday, though that is still unannounced. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:41 pm
