    • José Quintana pulled in fourth in no-decision
José Quintana allowed three runs over 3 2/3 innings against the Phillies on Sunday while not qualifying for a decision.

Advice: Quintana was only able to strikeout one batter Sunday, and he walked two while allowing six hits. It’s another mediocre effort for the 35-year-old southpaw that sees his ERA bump up to 5.29 on the season, but he was at least able to avoid his sixth loss of the season. Quintana should not be trusted as a fantasy option against the overwhelming majority of lineups, and that includes a start scheduled for Saturday against the Padres. Rotoworld Today, 10:39 am

    • Rejoining lineup Sunday
Suzuki (oblique) is batting second as the designated hitter Sunday against the Reds.

Advice: The 29-year-old sat out Saturday after he exited Friday's contest due to tightness in his left oblique, but he'll return to action in a non-defensive role Sunday. Suzuki is off to a hot start in June with four extra-base hits and a .286/.375/.714 slash line through six games. Rotowire.com Today, 8:28 am

    • Seiya Suzuki (side) back in lineup Sunday
Seiya Suzuki (side) is the designated hitter and hitting second against the Reds on Sunday.

Advice: Suzuki missed a couple of games while dealing with tightness in his side/oblique, but he’s back in the lineup for Sunday’s tilt against Cincinnati. The outfielder has dealt with injuries over his first two-plus years in the majors, but he has shown fantasy upside when he’s in the lineup. Rotoworld Today, 7:59 am

    • Not used in save situation
Diaz was not brought in to close out Saturday's 4-3 win over the Cubs.

Advice: Lucas Sims opened the ninth inning before departing with two runners on base, giving way to Justin Wilson to pick up the save. Presumably, Diaz was not used because he threw 42 pitches on back-to-back days leading up to Saturday's game. Rotowire.com Today, 6:11 am
    • Steals 34th bag in win
De La Cruz went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Cubs.

Advice: De La Cruz reached on a single in the fifth and proceeded to swipe his MLB-leading 34th bag. After going six straight games without a steal, he now has a swipe in back-to-back games as he continues his torrid pace on the basepaths. The 22-year-old leads MLB with 87 strikeouts but he continues to make up for it with great counting stats. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:36 pm

    • Earns fifth win
Abbott (5-5) earned the win over the Cubs on Saturday, allowing one run on five hits and four walks while striking out five over five innings.

Advice: Abbott struggled a bit with his command in this one as he tied a season high with four walks, but he still managed to get through five innings to get the win. Abbott has now won four of his last six starts and has allowed two runs or fewer in 10 of his 13 starts thus far. The 25-year-old lefty has been a key cog in the Reds' rotation this year, and he will take a 3.28 ERA into his start against the first-place Brewers next week. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:15 pm
    • Rebounds vs. Atlanta
Gore (5-5) earned the win Saturday over Atlanta, allowing two runs on six hits and a walk over five innings. He struck out seven.

Advice: Gore delivered four shutout innings before he was ultimately charged with a run in each of the fifth and sixth innings. While he failed to make it through six innings for a third straight outing, it was a solid rebound effort from Gore after he was tagged for six runs in just 4.1 innings in his last start against the Mets. Overall, the 25-year-old southpaw sports a 3.57 ERA with a 1.37 WHIP and 81:22 K:BB across 68 innings this year. Gore's currently scheduled to face the Marlins at home in his next start. • Abbott picks up fifth win against Cubs Saturday
Andrew Abbott allowed one run in five innings and got the win in the Reds’ 4-3 victory over the Cubs on Saturday.

Advice: Abbott gave up five hits, walked four and struck out five. The win was his fifth in 13 starts this year. He’s now won three of his last four starts. While Abbott has a 3.28 ERA on the season, his xFIP is significantly higher at 4.61. He’s benefitted from a .246 BABIP and 84 percent left on base percentage while striking out only 18 percent of batters this year. Abbott will need to miss more bats to avoid regression over the rest of the season. The 25-year-old left-hander is set to face the Brewers on the road next week.

    • MacKenzie Gore fans seven in win over Braves
MacKenzie Gore allowed two runs with seven strikeouts over five innings in a win over the Braves on Saturday.

Advice: Gore escaped a bases loaded jam in the first inning and worked four scoreless frames before the Braves brought a run across to score in the fifth. Gore started the sixth inning but was pulled after giving up a pair of base hits. One inherited runner would come in to score. The 25-year-old left hander struck out seven on an impressive 19 whiffs. He’ll take a 3.44 ERA, 1.37 WHIP, and an 81/22 K/BB ratio across 68 innings into a home start against the Marlins on Friday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:41 pm
