    • Confirmed for Wednesday's start
Gallen (hamstring) will make his regularly scheduled start Wednesday against the Dodgers, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.

Advice: Gallen's bullpen session earlier in the day went well, and skipper Torey Lovullo confirmed late Monday evening that the right-hander will indeed take the mound Wednesday after exiting his previous outing Friday due to hamstring spasms. Gallen owns a 3.38 ERA and 1.22 WHIP with a 35:9 K:BB across 32 innings this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:05 pm

    • Escapes with save
Adam allowed a hit and a walk in a scoreless inning Monday. He struck out two and earned a save over the Brewers.

Advice: Adam also hit a batter and faced a bases-loaded situation with two outs but still narrowly finished off the 1-0 win. It was his first save of the year after blowing his only other chance April 5 against the Rockies. Adam now owns a 1.29 ERA with a 12:4 K:BB and seven holds through 14 innings. • Remains winless
Rogers (0-4) took the loss Monday, giving up three runs on four hits and three walks over five innings as the Marlins fell 7-2 to the Nationals. He struck out three.

Advice: The southpaw threw 55 of 89 pitches for strikes before exiting, and all three of the free passes he issued came in the fifth inning -- including one to Jesse Winker with the bases loaded. Rogers has gone at least five innings in all six of his starts so far this season but has yet to complete six frames, and he'll take a 4.31 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 27:12 K:BB through 31.1 innings into his next outing, which lines up to come on the road this weekend in Oakland. • Shuts down Yanks for fourth win
Rodriguez (4-1) picked up the win Monday, allowing five hits and three walks over 5.2 scoreless innings in a 2-0 victory over the Yankees. He struck out three.

Advice: While the 24-year-old right-hander recorded his lowest strikeout total of the season so far, Rodriguez kept New York from pushing across a run despite having runners in scoring position in three of the six innings in which he worked. He tossed 54 of 101 pitches for strikes before exiting, coming up just short of his fourth quality start of the year, and he gave up two runs or fewer for the fifth time in six trips to the mound. Rodriguez will take a 3.71 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 37:12 K:BB through 34 innings into his next outing, which is scheduled to come on the road this weekend in Cincinnati. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:09 pm
    • Tosses bullpen Monday
Gallen (hamstring) threw a bullpen session at Chase Field on Monday, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.

Advice: Gallen indicated Sunday that believes he'll be ready for his next scheduled start, which would tentatively line up for Wednesday, and Monday's bullpen backs up this optimism. Assuming he still feels strong Tuesday morning, there appears to be a good chance he'll toe the rubber later this week. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:00 pm

    • Grayson Rodriguez shuts out Yankees in win
Grayson Rodriguez went 5 2/3 innings and allowed five hits and no runs in a 1-0 victory against the Yankees.

Advice: After a putrid outing where he allowed seven earned runs, Rodriguez put together a scoreless performance and threw more than 100 pitches for the first time in a game this season. This was the 24-year-old’s third win of the season and brought his 4.45 ERA down to a cool 3.71 ERA. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:07 pm
    • Trevor Rogers allows three runs in loss versus Nats
Trevor Rogers yielded four hits and three earned runs across five innings of work against the Nationals on Monday.

Advice: Rogers has now allowed three earned runs in back-to-back starts. Two of those three runs came off the bat of CJ Abrams who homered in the third inning to give the Nats an early 2-0 lead. The 26-year-old is still winless on the season (0-4) and will try to pick up his first win of the season when the Marlins take on the Athletics this weekend. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:06 pm

    • Zac Gallen (hamstring) throwing bullpen Monday
Zac Gallen (hamstring) is throwing a bullpen before Monday’s game against the Dodgers.

Advice: Gallen left Friday’s start against the Mariners with a hamstring issue, but the exit was deemed precautionary, and manager Torey Lovullo expressed that he was optimistic that Gallen would make his next start. Assuming all goes well with the bullpen session, that seems to check out for Wednesday’s start against the Dodgers. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:09 pm

    • Takes care of business in ninth
Alvarado pitched a perfect ninth to pick up the save in an 8-6 win over the Padres on Sunday. He struck out two.

Advice: Alvarado punched out Eguy Rosario and Luis Campusano before sealing the deal on a line out from Jurickson Profar for his first save since April 20. Alvarado has converted all five of his save chances, though he has an inflated ERA after giving up five runs in just two-thirds of an inning in his first appearance of the season. The hard-throwing lefty owns a 5.06 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 12:7 K:BB in 10.2 innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:16 am
