    • Red Sox reinstate Brayan Bello (lat) off of IL
Red Sox reinstated RHP Brayan Bello off the 15-day injured list.

Advice: Bello has been out since the end of April due to right lat tightness. The right-hander will rejoin the rotation, but it’s worth pointing out he threw just 52 pitches in his last rehab start. He’ll get the ball Sunday against the Nationals, but fantasy managers should proceed with some caution for this outing. Rotoworld 29 minutes ago

    • Activated ahead of start
The Red Sox reinstated Bello (lat) from the 15-day injured list ahead of his start Sunday against the Nationals.

Advice: Bello landed on the IL on April 24 due to right lat tightness, which he experienced coming out of his start April 19 versus the Pirates. He was able to get the green light to rejoin the big-league rotation after making one rehab start with Double-A Portland on Tuesday, when he allowed three runs (two earned) on four hits and two walks while striking out five over 2.2 innings. Bello holds a 3-1 record over five starts with a 3.04 ERA and 1.05 WHIP over 26.2 innings this season. Rotowire.com 34 minutes ago

    • Getting breather Sunday
Jeffers is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Jeffers looks to be getting a rest in the series finale after he started in each of the Twins' previous three games while going 2-for-11 with a pair of home runs and one walk. Christian Vazquez will spell Jeffers behind the dish. Rotowire.com 46 minutes ago

    • Cal Raleigh goes deep in blowout loss to A’s
Cal Raleigh slugged his 10th home run of the season on Saturday in the Mariners’ loss to the Athletics.

Advice: Raleigh went deep for the first time since walloping a pinch-hit grand slam earlier this week against the Twins, taking Athletics rookie Joey Estes deep to right-center field in the second inning. The 27-year-old switch-hitting backstop doesn’t offer much in the batting average department, but he’s hitting for a ton of over-the-fence pop right now. Rotoworld Today, 4:42 am

    • Trevor Megill hangs on Saturday for fourth save
Trevor Megill managed to hang on Saturday against the Cardinals for his fourth save of the season.

Advice: Megill made things interesting by surrendering a pair of two-out singles, which put the potential tying runs on-base, but managed to retire Nolan Arenado on a line drive to left field to extinguish the threat. The 30-year-old righty has reeled off six consecutive scoreless appearances since April 19 and looks like the favorite for saves in Milwaukee until All-Star stopper Devin Williams is ready to return around midseason. • Three extra-base hits Saturday
Mountcastle went 3-for-5 with a triple, two doubles and one run scored in Saturday's 5-4 extra-innings win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Mountcastle has been making some loud contact in May, with seven of his 11 hits this month going for extra bases. The first baseman is slashing .288/.331/.511 with six home runs, 18 RBI, 22 runs scored, two stolen bases, 11 doubles and a triple over 35 contests overall. Per Statcast, Mountcastle has a 46.6 percent hard-hit rate this season, the best mark of his career, though his 10.7 percent barrel rate is the lowest it's been in four years. • Earns fourth save
Megill allowed two hits in a scoreless inning to earn the save in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Cardinals. He did not strike out or walk a batter.

Advice: Megill made things a little hairy by allowing two-out singles to Lars Nootbaar and Paul Goldschmidt before getting Nolan Arenado to line out. The save was Megill's fourth of the season, all of which have come in his last five outings. The right-hander owns a 0.93 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 8:3 K:BB while also earning three holds over 9.2 innings this season. Megill has been the committee leader for saves recently, and that should continue at least until Joel Payamps (bereavement) is back with the Brewers. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:12 pm
    • Improves to 5-0
Skubal (5-0) earned the win over Houston on Saturday, allowing two runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out seven batters over 6.1 innings.

Advice: Skubal continued his run of excellence, recording his fifth straight quality start and picking up his fifth win without a loss on the season. The left-hander has built upon last year's breakout campaign to emerge as one of MLB's top hurlers and Detroit's undeniable staff ace. Skubal ranks seventh among qualified starters with a 2.02 ERA and fourth with a 0.86 WHIP. He's tied for fourth with 60 punchouts over 49 innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:02 pm

    • Tarik Skubal fans seven in victory over Astros
Tarik Skubal delivered another strong performance in Saturday’s victory over the Astros, striking out seven batters over 6 1/3 innings of two-run ball.

Advice: The Tigers’ ace allowed seven hits and a pair of walks on the evening. The only damage done against him came in the fourth inning, on run-scoring singles by Alex Bregman and Yainer Diaz. Aside from that, Skubal was in complete control. The flame-throwing 27-year-old southpaw generated 15 swings and misses on 97 pitches on the night — six on his changeup — while posting a strong CSW of 34 percent. He has been as good as advertised this season, posting a 5-0 record, 2.02 ERA, 0.86 WHIP and a 60/8 K/BB ratio across 49 innings through his first eight starts. He’ll look to keep the good times rolling when he squares off against the Diamondbacks in Arizona on Friday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:53 pm
