    • Yu Darvish fires seven scoreless to beat Dodgers
      Yu Darvish was magnificent in Sunday afternoon’s victory over the Dodgers, piling up seven strikeouts across seven innings of shutout baseball.

      Advice: The 37-year-old right-hander allowed just two hits and one walk on the day. He retired the first 14 hitters that he faced in order until he walked Andy Pages with two outs in the fifth inning. He then allowed a single to Enrique Hernandez, but got Miguel Rojas to line out to end the threat. Darvish generated 19 swings and misses on 101 pitches in the ballgame — one or more on eight different offerings — while posting an elite CSW of 36 percent. He has yet to allow a run over 17 innings since returning from the injured list and now boasts a 2.43 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and a 37/12 K/BB ratio over 40 2/3 innings on the year.       Yandy Díaz went 1-for-4 with a walk, a home run, and two runs scored in a loss to the Yankees.

      Advice: Díaz had a strong series against the Yankees, going 6-for-11 with two home runs across the three games. He’s starting to heat up a bit at the plate and has raised his slash line to .250/.313/.356 with three home runs and 19 RBI. The Rays lineup should trend up in the coming months, and Díaz could be starting to heat up as the summer approaches. Now might be the time to try and see if you can acquire him in a trade.       Advice: Adell jumped on a hanging slider with two men on in the second and launched it 419 feet for his seventh home run of the season and the third in his last four games. The outfielder has also hit safely in five consecutive contests, racking up six RBI over that stretch to go along with five runs scored.       Advice: The lefty-hitting Abreu will begin Sunday's game in the dugout as Washington sends out left-hander MacKenzie Gore. Ceddanne Rafaela will start in center field, while Jarren Duran and Tyler O'Neill man left and right field, respectively. Abreu hit a solo home run in the bottom of the third inning in Saturday's 4-2 win. He's slashing .284/.378/.480 with three home runs and 14 RBI over 119 plate appearances this season.       Ragans (2-3) took the loss against the Angels on Saturday, allowing seven runs on eight hits and one walk over 6.1 innings. He struck out three.

      Advice: Ragans first ran into trouble in the top of the second after surrendering a leadoff triple to Kevin Pillar to open the frame, which would eventually lead to three runs coming home for Los Angeles. The lefty would also surrender runs in the third and seventh innings, with the final two of those runs coming across after he was relieved by Nick Anderson. Ragans had given up two runs or fewer in each of his last three starts coming in, but ended up matching his season high with seven runs allowed in Saturday's loss.       Advice: Adell homered for the second consecutive contest against Kansas City, taking ace Cole Ragans deep for a 419-foot no-doubter to left field in the second inning. It was his seventh round-tripper of the season and third time he’s gone deep in his last four games. The 25-year-old former top prospect appears to be finally putting it all together at the highest level as vastly improved plate discipline has helped him unlock his immense raw potential.     • Cole Ragans lit up for seven runs in loss to Halos
      Cole Ragans was torched for seven runs over 6 1/3 innings on Saturday in a loss to the Angels.

      Advice: The final line isn’t pretty, but it looks worse than it probably should as Ragans was charged with two additional runs following his exit from the contest when Nick Anderson allowed both inherited runners to cross the plate. A three-run homer by Jo Adell in the second inning was responsible for most of the damage against him in this one. The 26-year-old lefty notched only three strikeouts and issued one walk.
