    • Heliot Ramos goes 2-for-4, homers in defeat
Heliot Ramos went 2-for-4 and hit his fourth homer Monday against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: The Giants lose some defense by playing Ramos over Luis Matos or Mike Yastrzemski with Michael Conforto back, but it’s going to be worth it for as long as Ramos remains hot. He’s batting .295/.361/.477 in 97 plate appearances, and while he’s not going to maintain that average, there’s a lot to like about his exit velocity numbers. Rotoworld Monday, 9:49 pm
    • Jackson Chourio heads back to bench Monday
Despite homering Sunday, Jackson Chourio is out of the lineup for Monday’s game against the Phillies.

Advice: Weird. This makes three times in the last five games that Chourio has been excluded from the lineup in favor of Sal Frelick and Blake Perkins. One would think the Brewers would want him playing everyday somewhere. The 20-year-old is hitting .214/.257/.345 with six homers in 180 plate appearances this season. Rotoworld Monday, 2:16 pm
    • Knocks sixth homer
Chourio went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer in Sunday's win over the White Sox.

Advice: Chourio belted a three-run shot during Milwaukee's four-run second inning. It was his first long ball since May 15, snapping a 12-game drought. During that stretch, he was 6-for-36 (.167) with just two extra-base hits. The highly touted prospect is still trying to find his footing at the MLB level; he's slashing .214/.257/.345 with 10 extra-base hits and a 10:49 BB:K through 52 games. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:08 pm
    • Drives in three runs
Ramos went 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in Sunday's loss to the Yankees.

Advice: Ramos went deep for a solo blast in the third inning and later knocked a two-run single in the sixth. It was his first career three-RBI performance at the MLB level, and he snapped an eight-game homerless drought. Ramos boosted his slash line to .286/.355/.400 with 16 RBI and seven extra-base hits through 93 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Sunday, 7:40 pm
    • Heliot Ramos homers, plates three runs in loss
Heliot Ramos went 2-for-5 with a homer and three RBI on Sunday, but it wasn’t enough to lead the Giants to victory over the Yankees.

Advice: Ramos clubbed a 405-foot (108.2 mph EV) solo shot off of Nestor Cortes in the third inning that gave the Giants a 2-1 lead. He then delivered a go-ahead two-run single in the sixth inning that put the Giants on top 5-3. The 24-year-old outfielder struck out in each of his other three at-bats on the night. For the season, he’s now hitting .286/.355/.440 with three homers and 16 RBI and a stolen base in 84 at-bats. Rotoworld Sunday, 5:35 pm
    • Jackson Chourio has HR, three RBI in win
Jackson Chourio went 2-for-4 with a home run on three RBI in a 6-3 win over the White Sox on Sunday.

Advice: Chourio got the Brewers on the board in the second inning by socking a three-run home run 385 feet at 102.5 mph off the bat. It was his sixth home run of the season, and he now has 19 RBI on the year. Chourio has an elevated strikeout rate which has helped keep his batting average down, but he has shown a fantasy-friendly profile with the six home runs and seven steals. It may not fully click this year for the 20-year-old, but the future is certainly bright. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:05 pm
    • Gavin Sheets swats two-run homer in loss to Brewers
Gavin Sheets swatted a two-run homer in a loss Saturday to the Brewers in extra innings.

Advice: Sheets gave the White Sox a 3-1 lead with a two-run homer off Robert Gasser. The 28-year-old has gone deep five times with 21 RBI along with a .765 OPS in 169 at-bats. Rotoworld Saturday, 5:19 pm

    • Logs steal in win
Freeman went 2-for-4 with one RBI, one stolen base and one run scored in Friday's 7-1 win over the Nationals.

Advice: Freeman had been leading off over the last couple of weeks, but that should be done with Steven Kwan (hamstring) returning from the injured list Friday. Freeman was second in the order Friday against southpaw Patrick Corbin, but he'll likely bat lower against right-handers moving forward. Freeman's steal was his second in five games and his eighth of the campaign. He's still at a mediocre .223/.317/.354 slash line with four home runs, 22 RBI, 32 runs scored and 11 doubles over 203 plate appearances overall, but he's hit .295 (18-for-61) over his last 16 contests. • Ronald Acuña Jr. to undergo knee surgery Tuesday
Ronald Acuña Jr. will undergo surgery on Tuesday to repair a torn ACL in his left knee.

Advice: The procedure will be performed by Dr. Neal ElAttrache, who performed Acuña’s other ACL surgery on his right knee back in 2021. The 26-year-old fantasy superstar There won’t be an official timetable for his return until he undergoes surgery next week as ElAttrache will determine at that time whether he suffered any additional structural damage to his knee, which would keep him sidelined much longer. If it winds up being a straightforward ACL surgery, there’s enough reason for fantasy managers to optimistically project Acuña to be ready for the outset of the 2025 campaign.
