    • Freeman has four-hit game Saturday
Tyler Freeman went 4-for-4 with a double, a walk, three runs scored, three RBI and a stolen base against the Twins on Saturday.

Advice: Freeman continues to occupy the leadoff spot for Cleveland despite a .221 average. The stolen base was his sixth of the season. It was a huge game for Freeman, who remains merely a deep league option.

    • Sitting versus lefty
Cruz isn't in the Pirates' lineup for Saturday's game versus the Cubs.

Advice: Left-hander Shota Imanaga will start on the mound Saturday for Chicago, meaning the lefty-hitting Cruz will step out of the lineup. Alika Williams will fill the opening at shortstop while batting ninth. Rotowire.com Saturday, 10:11 am

    • Out again Saturday
Hoerner (hamstring) isn't in the Cubs' lineup for Saturday's game against the Pirates.

Advice: Saturday marks the fifth game in a row that Hoerner has missed due to a sore left hamstring. The Cubs have been hopeful that the infielder would be able to avoid the injured list, but manager Craig Counsell said Friday that Hoerner may need to spend time on the IL if his hamstring continues to bother him. Nick Madrigal and Miles Mastrobuoni will once again serve as the Cubs' middle infielders Saturday. Rotowire.com Saturday, 9:56 am

    • Oneil Cruz getting day off Saturday vs. Cubs
Oneil Cruz is not in the lineup for Saturday’s game against the Cubs.

Advice: It’s a routine off day for Cruz with lefty Shota Imanaga toeing the rubber for Chicago. The 25-year-old shortstop has hit a small rough patch of late, hitting .207 (6-for-29) over his last seven contests. He does have two homers and one steal during that stretch, but has also struck out eight times with only one walk as well. Rotoworld Saturday, 9:25 am

    • Nico Hoerner (hamstring) not in Saturday’s lineup
Nico Hoerner (hamstring) remains absent from the lineup for Saturday’s showdown against the Pirates.

Advice: There’s been zero indication that Hoerner will wind up requiring a trip to the injured list, but he’s out of Chicago’s lineup for the fifth straight game on Saturday afternoon due to ongoing left hamstring tightness. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day, but there’s a possibility the Cubs will have to send him to the injured list if he’s unable to return this weekend. Rotoworld Saturday, 8:38 am

    • Still hoping to avoid injured list
Hoerner (hamstring) remains day-to-day and the Cubs are still hoping he can avoid the injured list, Ryan Herrera of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Hoerner is missing a fourth straight start Friday after still feeling something in his left hamstring Thursday, per manager Craig Counsell. While the skipper expressed hope that an IL won't be needed, he conceded that a move would be on the table if the issue continues to linger. With Dansby Swanson (knee) also out, the Cubs have been going with Miles Mastrobuoni and Nick Madrigal as their middle infield duo. Rotowire.com Friday, 11:37 am

    • Remains out with hamstring issue
Hoerner (hamstring) remains out of the lineup for Friday's game versus the Pirates.

Advice: It's the fourth straight game Hoerner has been out of the lineup due to tightness in his left hamstring. A stint on the injured list would seem to be a distinct possibility at this point given how much time Hoerner has missed, although there's been no indication from the Cubs yet that a move is coming. Miles Mastrobuoni and Nick Madrigal will again be tasked with middle infield duties for Chicago. Rotowire.com Friday, 8:34 am

    • Electrifying in win
De La Cruz went 4-for-4 with a double, an RBI, three runs scored and four stolen bases in Thursday's win over the Dodgers while also drawing a walk.

Advice: De La Cruz was a force to be reckoned with, reaching base five times and swiping at least one bag following each of his first three plate appearances. Those steals would lead to him scoring three runs, marking the third time this season he's accomplished that feat. It was also the star shortstop's first four-hit game on the campaign and his third game with three or more hits. De La Cruz has a whopping 30 stolen bases on the season following his first four-steal performance, sitting 13 ahead of the next closest player, Tampa Bay's Jose Caballero. • Elly De La Cruz steals four bases vs. Dodgers
Elly De La Cruz went 4-for-4 with four stolen bases on Thursday, leading the Reds to a 7-2 victory over the Dodgers.

Advice: De La Cruz might break the century mark in the stolen base department, if he sustains this surreal pace. He was thrown out attempting a fifth steal in the seventh inning of Thursday’s showdown at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. The 22-year-old burgeoning fantasy superstar is still striking out 30 percent of the time, but some improved plate discipline has enabled him to reach base more frequently this season and show off his field-tilting speed. He’s batting .277/.378/.516 with 35 runs scored, nine homers, 22 RBI and 30 steals following the first four-steal performance of his career out in Los Angeles. There’s still some room for improvement, but De La Cruz is rapidly evolving into one of the premier five-category impact contributors in the entire fantasy landscape. Rotoworld Friday, 3:11 am
