Jameson Taillon surrenders five runs vs. White Sox
Jameson Taillon allowed five runs with six strikeouts over five innings in a no-decision against the White Sox on Wednesday.
Advice: Taillon served up a solo homer to Corey Julks to start the game in the first inning. He worked through a pair of scoreless inning before the White Sox brought four more runs in to score in the fourth on six base hits. Taillon would remain to toss one more frame, ending his day after five innings at 75 pitches. The 32-year-old right-hander will carry a 3.47 ERA, 1.36 WHIP, and a 35/13 K/BB ratio across 49 1/3 innings into a start against the Rays in Tampa Bay on Tuesday.
