    Advice: Diaz got Houston on the board in the bottom of the fifth inning, smacking a solo shot off Miles Mikolas the opposite way to cut the Astros deficit to 3-1. It's the third straight game with a home run for Diaz, who's up to six long balls on the season. The Cubs were able to cover the damage for Taillon, allowing him to escape with a third straight no-decision.     Jameson Taillon allowed five runs with six strikeouts over five innings in a no-decision against the White Sox on Wednesday.

    Advice: Taillon served up a solo homer to Corey Julks to start the game in the first inning. He worked through a pair of scoreless inning before the White Sox brought four more runs in to score in the fourth on six base hits. Taillon would remain to toss one more frame, ending his day after five innings at 75 pitches.     Advice: Lopez cleared waivers after being designated for assignment last week and has now officially been cut loose after posting a 3.76 ERA and 19:11 K:BB over 26.1 innings. The reliever threw his glove into the stands following an ejection in his final appearance with the Mets in a May 29 loss to the Dodgers and in a postgame interview referred to himself as "the worst teammate in MLB." Bregman is expected to be back in the lineup Friday versus the Angels after Thursday's scheduled off day.
