• Romy Gonzalez has game-winning single vs Rays
Romy Gonzalez had a game-winning single in the 12th inning to carry the Red Sox to a 5-4 win over the Rays.

Advice: Gonzalez had entered as a pinch runner for Dominic Smith in the 10th inning and got his first at-bat in the 12th when he laced what would have been a double down the first base line for the game-winning hit. The versatile infielder had started four of five games since coming off the IL, going 4-for-14 with one run and two SBs heading into Tuesday night. His ability to play all over the diamond will keep him in the lineup semi-regularly in the coming weeks. That could make him useful in AL-only formats. Rotoworld 50 minutes ago

  • Nick Gonzales hits first homer of season vs. MIL
Nick Gonzales went 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Brewers.

Advice: Gonzales homered in the fourth inning to score Connor Joe, giving the Pirates their first runs on the afternoon. Offense was hard to come by for the Pirates in this one, as they were held to just three hits on the night in the losing effort. Gonzales has appeared in just four games this season since being recalled from Triple-A and is not on the fantasy radar at this time. Rotoworld Today, 7:20 pm

  • Recalled from Triple-A
The Giants recalled Luciano from Triple-A Sacramento on Tuesday.

Advice: Luciano has spent the entire season with Sacramento so far, slashing .266/.399/.344 with 20 RBI across 158 plate appearances. He'll come up from the minors to give San Francisco additional infield depth, taking the roster spot of Patrick Bailey (concussion). Rotowire.com Today, 6:45 pm
  • Giants recall Marco Luciano on Tuesday
Giants recalled SS Marco Luciano from Triple-A Sacramento.

Advice: Luciano gets the call to provide the Giants with a much-needed extra bat heading into Tuesday’s showdown against the division-rival Dodgers. The 22-year-old former top prospect was batting just .266/.399/.344 with one homer and three steals in 158 plate appearances this season for Triple-A Sacramento. Rotoworld Today, 6:24 pm
  • Report: Mets moving on from veteran Joey Wendle
The New York Post’s Joel Sherman reports the Mets are designating Joey Wendle for assignment.

Advice: Sherman adds that Yohan Ramirez will also be jettisoned from New York’s 40-man roster ahead of Wednesday’s game against the Phillies. Wendle signed a one-year, $2 million contract with the Mets during the offseason and has contributed just a .522 OPS with zero homers and one steal in 17 contests. It’ll be Mark Vientos coming up to take his spot on the active roster and split time with Brett Baty at third base moving forward. Rotoworld Today, 4:55 pm

  • Returns to majors
The Brewers recalled Miller from Triple-A Nashville on Tuesday.

Advice: With Rhys Hoskins (hamstring) headed for the injured list, Miller will come up from Nashville to give the Brewers additional bench depth. Miller will likely platoon with Jake Bauers at first base while Hoskins is out, though Miller's defensive versatility could allow him to make an occasional start elsewhere. • Brewers recall Owen Miller on Tuesday
Brewers recalled INF/OF Owen Miller from Triple-A Nashville.

Advice: Miller gets the call back to the big leagues over top prospect Tyler Black with Rhys Hoskins landing on the injured list with a hamstring strain. The 27-year-old went 1-for-12 in seven games for the Brewers earlier this season. Rotoworld Today, 3:00 pm

  • Masyn Winn leading off Tuesday against Halos
Masyn Winn is leading off on Tuesday against the Angels.

Advice: Winn gets a shot in the leadoff spot for the first time this season following a pair of multi-hit performances. The 22-year-old is off to a nice start this season, batting .283/.346/.372 with zero homers and six steals in 129 plate appearances. The lack of over-the-fence pop so far is a concern, but the on-base skills have been there. The bump up to the leadoff spot on a regular basis might be enough for him to make an impact for fantasy managers in deeper mixed leagues. Rotoworld Today, 2:55 pm

  • Idle Tuesday
Frazier is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Mariners

Advice: Frazier will be out of the lineup for the second time in the last three games, with Michael Massey playing second base and Nelson Velazquez operating as the designated hitter. Rotowire.com Today, 1:21 pm
