Player Notes

  • Sanchez has two hits, homer in blowout win
Yolmer Sanchez went 2-for-4 and homered in a rout of the Athletics on Sunday.

Advice: The homer gives Sanchez five on the season, as he took Liam Hendriks deep in the sixth with no one on. It's been an inconsistent season for the 25-year-old infielder, but there have been moments -- such as Sunday -- where he's looked like a competent infielder. With a .255/.303/.411 line, however, he doesn't offer much option in all but the deepest of mixed leagues. Rotoworld.com Today, 2:28 pm
  • Hernandez hits two of Dodgers’ seven HR
Enrique Hernandez popped two of the Dodgers’ seven home runs in Sunday’s extra-innings win over the Mets.

Advice: Hernandez went deep off of Jerry Blevins to lead off the game and Max Muncy followed with a dinger of his own. He then homered off of Chris Beck in the sixth inning and also added a third run scored after singling in the eighth. Hernandez now has a career-high 12 longballs this season over 69 games after he went deep 11 times across 140 contests last year. Rotoworld.com Today, 2:06 pm

    Kiké Hernández LAD - 2B,3B,SS,OF
  • Justin Turner sitting out on Sunday
Justin Turner is not in the Dodgers' lineup Sunday.

Advice: Turner has struggled since returning from the disabled list and will get a breather in this one. Max Muncy is at third base. Yasmani Grandal is also sitting out, as the Dodgers have Austin Barnes at catcher. Rotoworld.com Today, 8:27 am
  • Joey Gallo (hamstring) in Sunday's lineup
Joey Gallo (hamstring) is in the Rangers' lineup Sunday.

Advice: Gallo departed Saturday's game with a tight left hamstring, but it's evidently an issue he's been managing all season and it won't cost him a start. He's in the designated hitter spot and batting sixth against Jose Berrios and the Twins. Rotoworld.com Today, 8:21 am

  • Report: Padres show interest in Maikel Franco
FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal reports that the Padres have shown interest in Maikel Franco.

Advice: It's possible the Phillies may be willing to move on from Franco -- who has frustrated with his inconsistency -- and Rosenthal says Philly could target one of the Padres' relievers. However, they would likely need to add an infielder first with J.P. Crawford (hand) sidelined. Philadelphia has been connected to Adrian Beltre. Rotoworld.com Today, 6:34 am
